As the title states I'm looking to sell or trade for this one of a kind car. This is an authentic German built VW. I have all the German title paperwork along with import paperwork and the US title and tags. This car is ready to go. I'll trade for an awesome mk3 golf gti. Or a mk4 golf gti. Only manual tranny please.

      GOOD:
      16v motor with mild cams
      Head has aftermarket internals
      Cat back exhaust
      Headers
      Lowered
      Momo steering wheel
      Short shifter
      Single wiper conversion
      Powder coated intake manifold
      Roughly 155,000 original miles
      And more

Comes with a spare head and another intake manifold and some random parts

      Replaced the
      water pump
      Plugs
      Wires
      Cap and rotor
      ALL cooling hoses
      Thermostat
      Thermostat housing
      Starter
      Head gasket
      Head bolts
      Valve cover gasket
      Intake and exhaust gaskets
      Radiator
      Cooling fan
Inlet and outlet heater core hoses
      Oil filter and oil change
There is more that I'm sure I'm forgetting

ALL done in the last 2000 miles!!!

Car comes with borbet wheels that need new tires.

      Text (757) 754-1268 if serious.

Would prefer to trade for good solid mk4 2dr gti. But still open to other options. Will post motor pics ASAP

      Price: $5500 Obo!!!

Thanks guys. Had a few offers. I'm looking more for a 2dr mk4 1.8T manual tranny. Then anything BUT I am open to offers. This is my daily so I'll continue to drive it. Putting a brand new clutch in this weekend I think. Nothing wrong with what's in it. But I like to keep it up. . This car is my baby but my wife got a mk4 golf. So now I want one

I'm definitely rolling into Fayetteville Saturday night, so we could meet either then or sometime Sunday. I'll bring the title and everything just in case we decide to do a clean swap

I was thinking about getting Golf 2 from Germany, but I`m to lazy to do so. At ebay.de you can get desent car very cheap. Did you make this by yourself? How much it cost to ship car from Germany? Any problems w/ registration? Good luck with sale

I asked the army to station me in germany so I could bring one back. When I was done serving my time there I had it shipped back with me. The army shipped it for free and I had no issues with registration because I had all my paperwork in order.

If I trade this it will be for a mk4 2dr. Or something else really nice

Great car with cool story Bump for u. I have 99 passat V6 ready for trade. All new suspension (control arms KYB shocks)(1k mile) , Timing belt done (8k on kit), new bridgstone tires (~ 10K) and much more. But it is automatic and much bigger car than the ones you are looking for.
