    (I understand this is a shot in the dark but I figured I'd give it a try and see how things went.)

    When: Saturday September 24, 2011 - Time: 4pm - 7pm
    Where: Fager's Island     <- map linked, located off 60th street.

    I know there are a few of us around in the Volkswagen community but I've never personally seen a GTG dedicated for us homo car enthusiasts.
    I really hope this will have a good turnout(gay/non-gay supporters) and give everyone a chance to meet other fellow gay VW/Audi owners. Depending on how this year goes will determine if it happens again in the future.
    *There are NO make and model requirements*

    I don't want any gay bashing going on and hope that people will be mature and respectful towards others.

    I was thinking sometime during the day/early evening on Saturday and having it at the Northside Park off 125th street since it's open to the public and seems to have a good bit of parking, thought I'm sure this gtg won't be huge.

    Someone also suggested having it at Candy Kitchen along the strip, but I think there is a "colored wheel" gtg that happens yearly there and I don't know when they usually have it.

    Still open for thoughts, opinions and suggestions!

    UPDATE:

    I finally decided on the location and time(above) and hope that it doesn't clash with anyones gtg planning/scheduling.

    We might make an appearance, I'm not sure quite yet what our plans are for Saturday afternoon/evening... if it's the same as years past, it involves grillin' and drinkin' - and this year I'm the one bringing my beer (homebrew of course)

    I'm staying with a group at the Meridian on 60th street ocean side so it'll be a piece of cake to show up to this... just going to have to leave early for the Audi GTG at Rose's.
