Gotta have my Fast! I know it's a GTI thing but loved the marketing I just had to get one! He rides next to the shifter!
Congrats. I purchased a trunk lip spoiler from elitespoilers.com out of Dallas. The color match was perfect and mine was a no-drill application. I recommend using an adhesion promoter to ensure a good seal. Most body shops carry the adhesion promoter and you might even get lucky and they'll offer to install it for free like my body shop did. Good luck!

I'm in the same boat as you...i'm in school, so not much money for my payments and mods. So far the things that I have done that have been relatively cheap are:
    1. I swappped out my license plate stock lights with white LED's (20 bucks)
    2. I changed my front interior vanity lights to LED's (same bulbs as my license plate..20 bucks)
    3. I got another blue-ish white-ish LED for my rear dome light (relatively cheap, cousin had it)
    4. I'm going to change my DRL (daytime running lights) to LED's as well (around 40 bucks or less)

Also I'm going to do some tinting in the back, but none in the front because Southern California police are the WORST and I'll get 10 tickets in one day.

As far as rims, well again, I'm a student and the rims I want are going to run me a good 2,000 bucks with wheels and sport springs...so those will wait.

I'm also looking to install a fog light kit (once it comes out)...and HID's for my front headlights (once my euroswitch comes).

Those are relatively cheap things you can do that will make your car look pretty good..

I'm also going to drop mine a bit

I'm not sure where you can get them other than online, its best online though. For the DRL's...you need an 1156 type bulb. The rear plate lights would be the same as the interior LED's which are W5W wedge style T10 LED's.

I still haven't changed my DRL's, my hand keeps getting cut up and bruised trying to access them.

Pretty sure I saw info in a different thread but didn't see it in here. Since this is the Jetta thread, I'll ask here.

What are the currently available options for coilovers for the MK6 Jetta?

Sorry to tell you this, but the last I have heard, NOBODY has coils for the Jetta yet. They do have part numbers, but all are still in R&D. I know for a fact that the H&R ones are because I went to AWE to get them and they contacted H&R right in front of me to get an ETA and they were told they are still under development. So are the race springs. I ordered the sport springs instead. I am not totally sure about KW, but I have been told by a particular source that NO coils are available for sale. You can order them, but you wont be getting them for a while as once they come off the line, they will be on back order.

    haha thanks.

I bought them locally and didn't buy them online so I don't have a link sorry, but they're RS4 rep wheels. Google!

edit: btw when I typed in "rs4 rep wheel" in google search for images, I came across a pic of my own car (3rd pic on the left on the 3rd row)

Redline89- those wheels look great! Looks like in some pictures they're missing the center cap? I think 19" fill in the wheel well very nice... no need to drop it. Just put tint and your car would look hot!

thanks! Yeah the pics without center caps, were when I first got the wheels. They didn't have any center caps at the shop I bought it at that fit. So, I had to find a shop that sold some OE ones and finally found them late last week and put them on.

I actually just got the windows tinted yesterday . I was thinking of having my tail lights lightly smoked as well, but decided not to for now..
I'll take a pic and post it in a bit

After all the debate of Jetta V over Jetta VI.... looks like this Jetta is doing exactly what VW of America wants!

"There were a number of heavily redesigned models that boasted huge gains over their predecessors, such as the Volkswagen Jetta (16,955 total sales, a 74-percent increase)"
