Haven't seen those much on the VW/Audi side of things, but Honda guys generally hate Megan stuff. Post up how they work for you

haha I drove my mk4 with the frame less than 1/8th of an inch from the ground, and my 20th lip on the ground. It was on coilovers and lower than my friends gti that was bagged.

The Honda crowd bashing is so childish.

There might be a lot of ricers in the Honda crowd, but I would venture to say MOST Honda builders at least work on their cars, engines and transmissions.

Having a K04 2.0T seems few and far between on most VW's, while piles upon piles of Honda guys build and swap their own engines, tune themselves and custom build their turbo setups.

I myself would say that the VW crowd is more of the "ricer". Concerned with bagged drops, scrapping the ground, having someone else tune their car and shops installing almost any part that isnt an intake.

To get back on track. Megan stuff has been around the Honda community for eons. They produce some decent stuff, but it's just that. Decent.

The coilover's dont seem to fail, but they are prone to bouncyness and a poor ride.
I much prefer my KW/ST's for the same price.

Dude, I don't know where you got any of that from.
I just said that there are plenty of Honda enthusiasts with technical knowledge. No bashing here.

And bottomed out coilovers are prone to a shorter lifespan than ones which can achieve the same drop (and more) without being bottomed out. OH HI ST COILS

2012 Jetta TDI Premium with Nav. blk on blk

Had a mkiv Jetta and GTI in the past. So glad to be back in a VW. Cant wait to tint the windows and tail lights. Then maybe in a month or so a set of V701's and a set of lowering springs. Nothing crazy, this car will see a ton of miles!

Springs are much needed and next on my to do list.

Considering painting the lips on the rims black, what do you think? I will make it black and grey only, taking off chrome accents.

Going to test drive the Sh*t out of a 2.0L TSI (aus version of GLI) because i can't wait for mine to land in the country May 10th!

There are only 6 left in the entire country! it's taken me 2 weeks to get a test drive and this one just got into the show room. Anyone got any hints on what to look for?
