I honestly dont find it small at all. I think its the perfect size. How big of a touch do you really need to point and select music?

I think he is referring to the MFD screen in your instrument cluster.

Didn't base MKV's that didn't come with the MFD screen have a smaller sized screen there? Or is that just the Rabbit/Golf I'm thinking about?

Why don't they have a foglight kit for the 2011 Jetta SE's yet? The SEL's have them stock. How hard can it be to make a kit we can purchase to add them to the SE models. I'd also like to say to an earlier response about there not being much love for the new Jettas in here, First year models of almost all cars are snubbed on forums at first. If you love your car thats all that matters.

One thing I've read in reviews and heard people comment on is how to save money they used cheaper plastics in some areas of the interior. I haven't yet sat in one but the pictures I keep seeing of the interior always look great to me. Where is the difference noticeable compared to MKV's?

I've heard the earlier models used a softer plastic material. I'm not sure, but I still love my SE.

nope
just bought a regular HID kit
install for the low beam was a bit tough cause there isnt much space but the fogs was a piece of cake
im pretty sure once the GLI comes out then there will be more aftermarket parts

What exactly did it entail?? Did u remove the front bumper or just loosen the torx bolts on the top of the headlamp?? Seams there is very little room to change any bulbs....

Dont have to remove the bumper or any bolts
just remove that plastic cover that surrounds the low beam light
reach in where the drl lamp is and just twist and turn the bulb out
it should also tell you in the manual

I did mine last night. No warning lights on the dash. 20min install, Only problem was that i have big hands and the opening to the headlight is small, but I managed.
