Thanks going to be ordering my set this week.

For anyone who replaced their DRL, do you think this one is too long for the light?

    http://www.ledwholesalers.com/store/...&productId=442

The diagram says is roughly 67mm from tip to tip. These are the brightest I can find which is around 420 lumens, that's pretty close in brightness when comparing to the original filament ones.

And for jakubvento, are you sure that you are not getting any "bulb out" light with these ones?

    http://www.hidxenonlights.com/led-ca...ed-amber-p-691

    and how bright are they?

Pretty sure, cuz if it did, it would bug the living hell out of me and I would go back to oem.
Here is a crappy iphone pic at night. It's lil more blueish than the pic shows especially in day light.

    Bright enough for me.

Looks good but does any one have a picture on how it looks when you have your headlights on. Does it look good or does it look bad?

Can't do it. After u turn your headlights on, ur DRLs turn off. Unless there is a VAGCom tweaking to be done.

I searched 2011 Jetta and didn't see any suspension threads.. and this is the only actual everything 2011 jetta thread, so I figured, what better place then here...

Thanks for the photo, Jakubyento. They do look bright at night. Do you think these ones will have enough clearance in the housing from your experience?

I will take a look after work and let you know..

I checked and looks like you shouldn't have any problems with that long bulb. The only issue remaining is if it will trigger "bulb out warning" or not. I believe drls are excluded from that but i could be wrong. Good Luck

Nice.....I have candy white on tan too, the TDI Highline Canadian model. I still need to get exhaust tips (Cadillac Performance) and 30% all around tint done to mine, but will wait until the big thaw in late March for that. I'd like to see photos of white on tan with 30% tint to see how it shapes up in the bright sun.

I'd like to see it tinted as well. Honestly I'm thinking about keeping the fish bowl style...

Here is the official catalog for the 2011 Jetta. Some parts are shared in North America, others, like the new PN for the Jetta exhaust tips, are not available in North America.

    http://87.230.74.92/pdf/kataloge/Jet...Katalog_en.pdf

I was looking at the nice stainless steel sill plates, mudflaps and 6MT pedal caps for future upgrades.

it's a matter of calling your local dealer to see what's available to order and what's not.

or it's a matter of someone stepping up to the plate and be able to order these as euro parts and import into USA and Canada.

i for one would prefer to order through a dealer in canada, preferrably outside ontario so i don't have to pay 13% HST

SO STOKED! Transit time is about 5 days so hopefully mid-week next week. I will post pictures. I have not seen many MKVI Jetta dropped with wheels here yet...stoked to see the result!!!

Only option is to keep making new threads until there's enough Jetta 6 action to warrant a separate forum
I agree on the separate forum. In the meantime, try TDIClub, seems to be less GTI/Golf vs Jetta hating going on. I follow both forums, but post a lot less here. The whiplash when I type the word Jetta seems to be much more severe on this forum.

Same as above. Brother just got the 2011 TDI and loves it. I'm looking at a new 2012 TDI or GLI.

    After.

All black wheels and tires were not looking good. Had to add some orange pin striping to the rims.

Nice. I was thinking black Jetta, black rims might be too much. Didn't think about pin striping though... Good idea.
