So, a while back I posted that I started going out with one of my friends ex-fiancées. Long story short, its been 6 months for them (mutual breakup) and 2 for me when we both got out of our relationships. We bumped into each other at a club and what we both agreed on is that we fell for each other.

Now 5 months later, after some really strong attraction towards each other and sharing many thoughts and feelings about each other, things went south and now I am venting.

I started a consulting job under her motivation and couple months later she broke up with me. She would text and call me everyday but since starting this job and some trouble she had at home, 3 small arguments; a lot of things started to change really fast. Final last week she was silent, we got in a bickering, more silent treatment, I went off bought a bike and was late to seeing her and she simply canceled, she wouldn't make much time for me when I started working part to why the bickering. Next day she broke up with me.

Another week of nonsense and it was finally over, I got to talk to her on normal terms when I asked for closure but I am still confused as ever, as if she didn't really tell me why we broke up.

Now after a little research she is talking with her ex who she would compare me to...

Need help moving on, she left an impression on me, sorry no pics as I deleted everything associated to her. Confidence level is down and not like it was up there to begin with...

I got really sick (see drunk) over the weekend and my ex called, needless to say she took care of me all Saturday while I dry heaved for 7 hours. She said that she wants to see how it goes being close friends for awhile. This is after we had super hate sex last Halloween until New Years then called it quits for awhile so we'll see what happens.

Yep, get full body pics before revealing any phone #'s, or making any commitments to meet.
If successful with that, make a date for a quick coffee or a drink before doing any sort of date event.

Seems for me its been a week or two of an email every day or so, then suggest meeting up for a drink or coffee or whatever. You'll know in short order if there is any chemistry.

In my locale, OKC is horrible, bunch of fat, nerdy women who like to brag about what sh!t books they are reading. F-that.

POF is more akin to Plenty of Fatties - but where I live that is what 98.8% of the female population seems to use.
For every 10 emails I've sent, maybe three respond, of which maybe 1 in 20 is worth meeting once you find out more about them.

Yeah, I hear your about the POF statements, OKC around here is pretty good but limited responses, which makes me question how I can go about getting better responsed from better people.

All you can do is keep being yourself, and doing things that you want to do. Eventually you find someone who is into the same things. Seems to happen when you aren't looking.

I honestly have no clue how it works.

I asked the girl I'm talking to right now why she decided to go on that first date with me, and most importantly what made her want to continue seeing me. She said that I'm the opposite of what she normally looks for physically, but I'm so strange that I intrigued her. Weird in a good way I guess?

Be interesting - If you are weird or nerdy embrace it... don't try to be someone you think they want you to be. I've had weird tastes my whole life - I've always just liked what I wanted to like - women included and tried what I've wanted to try my whole life. My weirdness has been the main attribute that consistently brings me girls who fit my unrealistically high standards.

Maybe I typed that wrong, what I meant was that if you meet someone out at a bar or social gathering it seems that you would be more inclinded to give them more of a chance then you would if you met online. With online dating people are written off too quickly if you don't meet everything on that list. I mean come on, really ?

Sweet. One of our vendors invited their customers over today to see their premises and meet the people behind the company. I noticed this cute Asian girl there but didn't really know what to go talk to her about (especially since we aren't doing co-operation with these people, but some other people working in their other office). But the girl came to talk to me and we talked for a good while. She's from Taiwan and has been in the country for 10 years. I thought why the hell not and said I would've given her my business card but that I didn't have one right then, to which she said she'd go get hers to me. Cool. Although, kinda funny that we didn't exchange business cards. But in any case, I'll definitely send her an email.

Not a bad day, the sun is shining and it's summery warm, too.
