its just her and her dog in this apartment. and we all know if she smokes she pokes. not to mention she was caught with A HALF POUND on her lol so if there is a relationship as to how much she smokes vs how much she pokes I am in for a hell of a night. Shes knows I work for a candy company and said shes going to have to find out if I taste like candy

Side note, I once worked with a guy that was on house arrest and they would not let him come to the Christmas party. We, his supervisors contacted his parole officer and informed that he needed to work a double for year end. His first social time out of the house in a year.

I have figured out why I'm still single. The reason is because I'm stupid!

So, today marked a week of knowing the (gorgeous) chick i met at the concert. We spoke a lot through the week. Lots of fun convos though most were just texting.

Early this week we came up with the idea of going to see a play but haven't set a date yet. We also decided that she needs to save me from how deprived i am when it comes to seeing good movies. Tonight we spoke about movies again and she was like "we should probably set a date for all these adventures were planning!" And i said yea blah blah. Ended up agreeing to meet next Saturday to watch some movies together. Awesome, right?

Wrong! Because i got a little tipsy at my friends bday party and started talking to my group of friends. i told them about my plans and they reminded me that we are all going to comic con on Saturday. So i texted this girl and instead of making up something that sounds more important, like i gotta save the works from global warming, i told her something along the lines of "i can't make it on Saturday cuz I'm going to comic con with my friends. I'm sorry. would another time work for you?"

That was around 10:30pm. It's now 2:12am. Either she fell asleep or I'm screwed lol

Welp, back to the "Singles thread" once again. Just broke it off with this girl I have been seeing for the past couple of months. Wonderful girl, just too many things that were not going to change. Distance(hour each way) age (10 years difference) work schedules and the fact that she is moving 6 hours away (by plane) in May.

Really sucks as I really like her, but I rather end it now before it got too intense.

Finally able to post some decent news in this thread now.

I met this girl on OKCupid. Had the best first date I've ever been on. We met up for lunch and I ended up staying at her place that night.

We just had our second date Friday night/Saturday afternoon. Amazing.

Next date is for next weekend. We talk daily. She is great. I got in with the friends early so I feel that might have helped me out as well.

After going through a pretty ****ty divorce, I feel like I'm on top of the world.

If I did not respond within 2-3 minutes I would have 7 other messages, if there was not a text back in 10 minutes she would call. When I did not answer she called from another number to make sure I got her messages. 3am call on sat night to make sure we were on for Sunday night?! Really?!
