Wellp, went to the DMV yesterday to get my license back since I'm a couple weeks passed my 6 month suspension... To find out I can't get that **** till August 3rd, REAL flocking' pissed about it, no explanation on why it got extended either!!!

Also been about three weeks since I ordered my pistons and still waiting, I'm tryna get this **** back together and that's all that's holding me up for the most part! Hopefully they'll be here today or tomorrow, if not... BUGGIN'!!

Called up CP earlier today to see what the deal was on my pistons, since it's been over a month since I ordered them through a shop, to find out "the 9:5:1 83mm pistons haven't been fully developed yet and they MIGHT be completed in a month or so"... Would have just went with some JE's if I knew this when I ordered, since I'm somewhat rushing this rebuild... I just want my car back together and running, this void is killing me tremendously!!

So after 30 years of my pops having his 69' Camaro(Soft top) under a tarp, he is beginning his restoration, got a **** load of parts for it this week, SUPER pumped for him finally starting it(Although my ass and his uncontrollable need to spoil my younger life is 100% the reason it didn't begin earlier... and the fact that my cars are always in need of the garage). But the time has come, pumped to learn some body work and get some experience in with the welder.... First things first though... Get the Audi back together and out of the garage, Which should have been pretty damn complete weeks ago!!!

It only took about two+ months to get these f*ckers , but they're here and It's. F*cking. Time... Can't wait to drive this thing agaaaiinn!!

Anyone on here planning/running 83mm CP pistons for 9:5:1... or know of anyone?? or am I guinea pig'ing right now?
Although when I called CP the week before last, they weren't even fully developed yet...

That camaro will be stellar restored. You'll love the depos I think, but if you are getting them you should be consistent with the clear look and pick up these clear sidemarkers too http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUDI-A4-S4-B...ht_4196wt_1219 It'll look odd with clear corner headlights and amber side markers imo, just a suggestion though.

Completely agreed, Ordered them last week for that reason, Arrgghh not a huge fan of those being clear either, although I've never seent the depo's & clear sidemarkers in person on the pearl... We'll find out ina few weeks how it all looks together though!! Thanks for the suggestion regardless

Decided I'm too in with the sound of an open wastegate, so cut the dump off the downpipe... Not sure how I wanna route the dump tube though, straight down or figure something creative and possibly obnoxious out, since the rest of the car will remain relatively refined. Also had to grind off the bung for the A/f sensor to be moved to the opposite side

Figured I'd get some painting done this week, picked up some bed liner and sugar, water, purple satin to redo my grill and intercooler piping. The bed liner worked out pretty damn good, it was a little to shiny for my liking, so I went over top of it with black textured. Both the grille and intercooler piping look much better in person, I'll get better shots of the I.P. when it's all dry. Only parts that will be purple other than the catch can, which I'm still not positive on, rest will be black for the most part. Annnnnd might end up going with chrome rings, gotta see how it all looks once the front is back together.

A couple random shots after washing my ish' for the first time in the past months it's been in the garage and of my boys recently acquired EVO8 w/ tune and work done by EFI Logics; Upgraded Injen intercooler piping and Intake, Puven performance diverter valve, 3" Greddy turbo back, K-Sport Kontrol fully adjustable suspension and ____ KXX rims. it's actually stanced out pretty well, but my driveway is f*cked where he parked. 310AWHP at 15psi.

Tomorrow morning my pops and I are going to start the rebuild of the block and putting the clutch and block back in the bay. Should have the clutch/block/head back in by sometime sunday, Then a bunch of thinking to see what I want to change up and a bunch of shtuff to finish up, PPUUMMPPEEDD!

Loving the way the grille turned out with the truck bed liner... So flock' it, I'ma roll with spraying the bay with that ishh'... Clutch and block will be in by the end of the day most likely as well, just waiting on a friend to drop off a hone and it's time to reassemble the blockkk!

I've had both of my A4's bays painted with textured and It always stayed clean/cleaned up well and looked pretty damn good... and I'm diggin' the finish of the bedliner on my grille, so I might as well give it a whirl and see how it goes I suppose I really wanted to go a different route with the bay of this one, but I can't stray away from the black bay for some reason haha Also one less thing to OCD over since it always looks clean for the most part haha Thinking all the black and little bits of purple and chromish' parts should all come together pretty noooiiicely.
