VR6 Vanagon Westfalia

I have a 1982 Vanagon westy with a clean VR6 swap for sale or trade. The motor came from my 2000 Jetta that was demolished from the rear. KEP adapter plate and KEP stage 1 clutch, new billett crack pipe, thermostat housing,cover and adapter, totally new suspension, bushings,balljoints, Billstein HD shocks, etc.new wheel bearings front and rear, New brake master cylinder, new calipers in front, new shoes in rear,transmission is BUILT, 10" ring gear instead of 8",reinforced case,4 spider gears instead of 2,TALL Weddle race gears, chipped computer from C2, 17" mercedes wheels,pop top, 2 beds, stove, 3 way fridge,water tank, propane tank, shore power, smoked tail lenses with new bulb holders,smoked corner lenses with new bulb holders, I'm sure there is much more I'm not thinking of at the moment but will update the post as I think of things.
The bad: it could use a paint job, Has 1 small spot of rust, I have a new patch panel to fix it though, just need to have it installed, carpet could use to be replaced, not torn anywhere, just almost 30 years old....

I just had some brand new Goodyear Eagle GT tires put on it. 255. 40.ZR17 on the back, 245. 40ZR17 on front, as well as had it aligned, AND got new poptop canvas as well as rubber seals for camper top and luggage rack.

The van is located in Louisville KY. I would meet someone halfway with it if they were coming from another state.
It gets about 20 mpg depending on how you drive it.

I wish this was posted for sale for this price in late May before I bought my Vanagon Syncro project. More money up front but I could have gone camping this summer.

This is an awesome van! I took it to Red River Gorge for some holiday camping with the family. 2 beds and a kitchen sure is awesome to have when camping!
Come get this thing before the price goes up because I constantly upgrade things, but never hardly use it....

Hi I dig your vr vanagon. I have a 2001 audi a6 2.7t six speed with leather. 150000 miles it runs great and looks nice the clutch has been recently changed. there are no mods. If you are interested send a few pics of the interior and engine bay.
