Probably had twelve already. This kegerator is bad news. Lol. 7 days for paint to cure. So I'll be working very carefully this week.

Actually 90 days Still soft, but if you're planning to do any wetsanding, now would be the time, well 24 hrs and to the keg'orator ...........

Yes, you're right. I read the tech sheet wrong. 7 days for for clear over base coat. After 7 need to scuff and re-base coat before aplying clear. 90 days to cure! You really know paint huh?

The B4's look different in construction, but fit up the same if you can find one, differences are somewhat subtle. I had to source my 1st one off vortex...

Probably it! I think that factory paint is single stage though, and I did a base clear. Could be wrong though...

I'll be painting this car eventually but will be keeping it white. Be doing a bright wight pearl... always loved the purple hue you get from a white pearl!

Motor is "in". I need a shorter front motor mount. Something around 1" shorter. Will help with aba serpentine belt clearing and the SRI clearing the hood. Also, the 034 manifold puts the turbo too close to the firewall. So I'll be going with the bahn brenner manifold. Will move it closer to the head and closer to the hood. But here are some pictures from this weekend. Non-abs is in also. Just need to get a brake line tool to redo the lines.





I think i'm going to make a 45 degree piece to go between the tb and sri to move the tb farther away from the hood since that is the closest thing to the hood

Chad, you don't know of a front motor mount that would work on our cars and be 1" lower? As of right now i'm making a full tube front cross-member.

Only thing I could say is hockey puck or custom hard mount, I am unaware of anything shorter than the flying saucer

Ok thanks. Will be doing a tubed front crossmember, was prob going to do it anyways. Makes for easier intercooler mounting... Bring on the flying saucer! Gonna have to get a flyers puck...
