    Parking Brake cover, sort of...

    So after my first attempt of covering the parking brake with a little plastic cover, I decided to take matters into my own hand and work on a somewhat functional cover, here is what i came up with:

    and with louver functional


    Basically it is held on with velcro from the bottom and the console is removable if i ever need to put the parking brake on. Not the best system but a start i guess...

    There have been a few accidental liquid spills amongst Tiguan owners mentioned here on the forum due to proximity with the cupholders and position below open sunroof...liquid + electronic parking brake switch = brakes stuck "on" .

    Soda almost spilled on the brake one time and Last week the wife, spilled coffee down the console An electronic brake by the cup holder is poor design on VW part.
