...jumped it from an upper tier parking lot to the lower (about a 5 foot drop), then we left it in some parking lot...

OT but... My buddy did the same thing in his 96 stratus! But it wasn't intentional. Christmas eve a few years back, we decide to slide and screw around in a mall parking lot. First people there, so no tracks, just perfect untouched snow. Well he guns it across the lot, all i remember is a loud smashing sound, a violent lurch, the feeling of a good three foot free fall, another impact, followed closely by my head smashing the dash. Easily one of the most confusing moments of my life. Turns out since the snow was untouched the two lots appeared to be even. You couldn't even see the curb or the drop until you were standing at it. Car was effed up bad, fluids everywhere, and needed a tow.

Aluminium and iron oxide powders, mix it...light it with a magnesium strip....We did it in my highschool chemistry class. It's all readily available from laboratory suppliers.

That said...just because it's not an explosion doesn't mean it's not awesome.

Due to the practicalities of blowing up a car without getting arrested, things have been plodding along slowly with the execution of the plan. But the car has just been towed 800km to our capital city, and is another step closer to being exploded.

It looks a little secondhand after the dirt driving, but the bumper is inside the car.
