You could have downloaded the client without buying a second license from Blizzard...

Don't think I am going to be getting my CE, might go out tonight at midnight and try to find one, I've never gone out for a game that late but I've been looking forward to it for a while. On top of that building a new pc and the parts wont be here until Wednesday or Thursday so I wont be able to play anyway! Its okay though, can't complain because I am lucky enough to be able to do these things.

It went without a hitch on my W7 gaming PC though.

Nope, you could start installing at 8AM PST today. I installed at 11:15AM EST.

There was a blue post on this issue. Have you deleted all of your beta files? You should uninstall the beta and also delete your Battle.net folder. It's in c:\program data (It might be hidden).

It should work then.

actually i might do my first run through completely solo.

so i can go my own pace. and really enjoy the experience, instead of rushing.

No activation key for the digital copies. You will end up at the main screen in Diablo 3, you just can't click play. Happy demon slaying.

I literally just bought D3... I wasted at least a year of my life playing D2 when it first came out. I didn't want to play D3. Must maintain some sort of a life.
