I've bought gems on AH. I couldn't buy anything higher then a raditent or whatever it is.

Radiant square is the highest I've seen in game and in AH. Though everyone I search for gems I feel the ah is bugged for me

One thing I noticed (possible bug) is that when I switch modes (e.g., Hell --> Normal) all my options settings are reset to default. That's annoying. I discovered this while helping some friends level their characters the other night.

Found a big upgrade for my wand last night, too. +2300 dps just from that one item. I might have paid around 20, gold (?). I can't remember, but it was relatively cheap for such a big boost in dps. Now, my wizard is up to around 8290 damage.

The AH finally stopped lagging and I received the "entry level" L60 wand (~600 dps) that I bought for ~70k gold. That price isn't too bad, I think. 1000+ dps weapons are 500k gold and above.

I need to be diligent in selling my stuff on the AH.

game is fun and great, im really really getting over the fact that when a sword drops for my barb and even for my gf's DH and it has intl on it for +100. come the Fug on. all my drops last night in hell were this. all my good items have come from when my brother is gaming on his wiz. i feel like the farming is not worth it as of right now cause im farming nothing of worth wild for myself. granted im not in inferno cause hell is whooping my A up and down the acts, and i dont avoid any packs of NM mobs or champions. usually have about 6 plus deaths per fight with them.

arcane, extra heallth, and horde is brutal. now i know my gear is low level NM i would say so i can get past the regualr Hell mobs and just ground and pound. usually have to kite and i HATE to kite with a strength barb class.

hopefully i can get some better gear over the weekend farming act 1 of HELL and some of act 2 HELL. will see how it goes.

even if you're not finding items in-game, you're still getting gold for selling those items to merchants which you can then spend in the AH to upgrade. gotta at least be thankful for that

Keep in mind that intellect isn't useless for all classes. 10 Int = 1 All Resist. All Resist is a great way to stack up additional defense for your toon, especially when you are hitting diminishing returns on your armor level.

Yeah. First part of hell we went through wasn't bad. But my 13+k dps with my dh prollu helped that.

13kdps in early hell? man...i need some serious gear upgrades. my lvl 50 monk is only doing about 1300dps dual wield, lolz

As I've learned, white's been quite lucky with drops and the AH. I've tried to balance health and dps, and so I only sit at 7.8k dps for the beginning of hell.

i can vouch for this, dude was gettin rares like every other champion pack and i saw blues all night. but he did offer them to me before selling which was cool

58wd joined my game an I noticed he was utterly decimating everything. Looked at his weapon, level 60, 800~ dps 2 hander that had a -17 level requirement on it. Being able to use an 800 dps weapon at level 43 is a little op.

That's broken. I've seen -5 and stuff like that, but -17? Damn...

Anyway, at least for now, half the game is about farming gold via quests and selling the loot and the other half is about farming the AH. Oh, and there's the other half about getting through the more difficult levels. That's 3 halves. Yeah...

Anyone else having their current quest set back one or two? Since yesterday every time I have left and rejoined a game my current quest has been changed to the previous one. I've had to kill Belial twice, and Izual twice because of this. It also really sucks with long quests.

nope, but just ran a1 with hostile, soar, max and bob and with us 4 it was challenging at times. and im dealing over 13k dps and sucked it up horribly

Well the extra mob health from 4 people didn't help, but I think we all did fairly well. We were able to down the Butcher on the first try. I'll definitely be shopping the AH though.

dang, i started A1 hell last night with a group of 3 others and we got to the chancellor before i called it a night. i sure do struggle though, i'm constantly in survival mode it seems because my life/res seems low and i only have 1,600 dps

i think it's time to shop the AH. is it worthwhile buying +all res gear or can i still get decent resistances if i buy the individual light/fire/etc mod but have it on almost all my items?

If I were you, I'd be upping that DPS to at least 7k. Kill them before they can take a swing at you.

Sometimes I had trouble taking them down before they hit me with 13k dps. Haha. But I don't have much life or Res. I wanna hold out shopping the ah til Lvl 60. Bc of the badass gear.

So as the beta approaches and the game is soon(hopefully) to be released, I think it's time for a Diablo 3 thread for everything D3 related.

What are you planning on rolling first?
I'm planning on rolling a Demon hunter. Obvious reasons, it's got solo-ability. I see it as a character that you could get through inferno with by yourself. Plus it will compliment my buddy's Barb well when we rush through the game initially. We're trying to get through inferno before anyone else so hopefully we can 2 man it easily.

Check in here and hopefully we can get a bunch of texer' together to play with when it comes out.

Killed Diablo on my first attempt in Hell. Fight was easy!

After we killed the Butcher I went back to the AH and dropped about 120k on new gloves, belt and amulet. I'm also rocking a Giant Skull that a buddy gave me. I'm up to 4k dps now with a 1h and shield, 4k armor and 16.9k hp. All those numbers still seem pretty low for level 53.

I grouped up with some buddies for some attempts at Whimseyshire on Hell mode. Holy crap, that place is no joke! Nightmare was too easy and dropping garbage but the champions in Hell mode were tearing us up.

Had a good night last night. Got to level 60 with my monk, and also got a sweet drop... Beckon Sail. Sold it for 800k, and got myself some decent gear to get through the rest of hell.
