I shamelessly copied PBN's DH spec... and I have come to the hilarious conclusion that Vault: Trail of Cinders is Retard Strength overpowered. And fun as hell. I've gotten bitten by it a few times, but there is nothing like jumping head-first into a pack of 'lites and watching their health bars drop in a matter of seconds.

I can do my runs in about 20 minutes.. I'm avging about 1m xp a minute... I also gain lots of bonus xp due to the fact that i have a 31% gem in my head and 29% leorics ring....

Having 16xK sheet dps (w/out sharpshooter also helps).. I'm just glad that I don't rely on vault: trail of cinders as my main dps source b/c its going to get nerfed hard..

it seems kind of clunky that you have to go get your money out of the completed items thing... say something is 5 mil, you only have 8, you bid 5, get out bid, so your 5 mil goes to completed, leaving you with only 3, you cant bid again until you get your money out and then bid, and sometimes the stupid bid list doesnt update with the latest price, so the price it auto fills in isnt the right one.

so, i just picked up a 1000dps+ sever, for 1mil.. 170vit and the usual stats.. im using it in my offhand with my sun keeper.. running act 3, let me just say.. wtf... i am getting crits against demons into the millions.. more than making up for not using a shield.. this thing is nuts.. i may be misreading some of the numbers, but i swear i saw a 9 million hit crit... sitting at 40k dps and 60k HP..

edit,, just read about the wep.. the big, multi-million hits im getting is the "slain enemies rest in pieces" proc, killing blows are huge damage.. if it had a life leach on it, like 3% converted to health, i could get full heals off this thing.. and with ignore pain up (20% damage done converted to life) i could get heals off of it

as of this afternoon i *dinged* 60 on my 5th character, so i guess that's all of them. the problem now is i have NO idea what character i want to play or what build to gear for

They also stealth nerfed the hellfire ring proc, apparently it was scaling too much with each classes respective main stat. It used to crit anywhere from 2-5 mil. Not sure what the damage is like now though.

In other news I've just been gearing the WD up for higher MP levels.

105k damage
5k armor(no shield)
610+ all resist
57k hp

Those numbers are all completely unbuffed with no follower, should be able to farm right around MP7-8 with little to no trouble at all. I hope!

finally some good drops, the vile wards and the blackthornes dropped back to back on my two runs on staurday and the crossbow dropped on sunday afternoon. all in all i put in about 3 hours of farming act 3 with my WW barb. pics so you can drool over them. the vile wards dropped my stats for my barb thank god.
id let the blackthornes go for the right price.

from what i read, they are getting rid of all their PC games (although i don't know why). they also have Skyrim and other big titles for the same price. it's an in-store only deal though. some people have said they have successfully gone to best buy and walmart to get the priced match but i imagine for that to work you need a toys r us within a certain radius.

if i could nab Skyrim for the pc for $10, i'd do it. this weekend they were even cheaper according to their website, $3.99.

gold is down to $0.56 per mil and radiant star emeralds tanked to 9mil, holy crap!

but regardless of prices on commodities, i'm still waiting for 1.0.5 to come out so i can gear the rest of my characters for much cheaper than i can now.

drops have been horrible for at least 2 weeks, i was finding 2-3 legendaries a week, and yellows that i can actually sell. but i havent gotten anything worth a damn in the last 2 weeks.. im maintaining my balance, maybe a few 100k a night.. .. looking to get a couple pieces and cant do anything because im not increasing my gold that much, i cant spend hours a day farming..i usually do 1-2 siegebreaker or arreat crater to assmodan runs a night..i have over 250 mf once im all NVed out..

^^^ this past weekend was till yesterday night was the first time i got a leg and a set item in back to back runs and last night on my first run i got two legendary drops that are crap but it still happened, my brother was the same and hes since found 3 set items and like 5 legendary some crap but hes made about 100 mil from a few sales. my pants i sold for 30 mil and got 24.5 after the gold tax.
and my magic find is like 170 after the NV buffs to. so it happens. before this weekend i was lucky to get a single rare worth selling for 100k

76stg, 53 all, 15% magic, and 12% movement i found them on a run. you can always try and snipe a 1d12/11h sell or the <1 min sell

havent done a mf run in probably 2 weeks and the one i did on my lunch break today i get a 6prop glove plan off azmodan, lolz. granted the value of these plans dropped dramatically, like everything else, but still nice to see something decent hit the ground. must be the games way of welcoming me back to farming

i think i've asked this before, but it was more in regards to a SOJ...

any monks ever experiment with the +% damage to lightning skills and +% lightning damage modifiers on weapons? (ie. Won Khim Lau)

it's pretty common for a monk to use Fists of Thunder which deals 110% lightning damage as well as Sweeping Wind + Cyclone which also deals lightning damage, but what's hard to calculate is how much those two lightning damage modifiers add to your dps. (i tried on d3up and it doesn't add it to your overall dps or dps on that skill specifically)

reason i ask is you can get a 900+ dps Won Khim Lau with 3% life steal and a socket for 100% crit damage to go along with those +light dmg mods. as someone who cant swing the dough for a nice Shenlongs, could this be an effective alternative?

if anyone has tested this or has come across a thread/article that explains this i'd really appreciate the information. it's time to get my monk another significant upgrade, since he's starting to feel a bit stale again

radiant stars all skyrocketed, i'm guessing it's because a new article on the patch was released today regarding how Monster Power is going to work. i'm kicking myself for not buying up a bunch of radiant star emeralds.... could easily be re-selling for 2mil profit per gem right now

1.0.5 is supposed to hit tomorrow. I started playing this weekend and started a barb in preparation for it.(fotm we build) and spent about 100mil on gearing him. Should be 60 by tonight. Hopefully what they were trying to accomplish with 1.0.5 is actually going to work and make farming worth while for us poor folks and not just the rich people.
