Wha? I thought it was funny. I needed a title and I suck at creativity.
Anywho....at 30k miles I can't really call it a rebuild thread. When I bought this car I told myself I would leave it alone and leave all the go fast bits to the '93. Well, that lasted a week I think if I remember correctly. I couldn't live with the PO so called "improvements", so it has been an ongoing fix this, replace that kind of thing. But nothing that really strayed too far away from the stock appeal that couldn't be easily undone. Anybody that knows me, knows I like to drive that crap out of it...hell, I'll drive the crap out of anything with 2 or 4 wheels. So there are things about the stock setup that just won't do.
It's been five years and 10k miles since I bought this '94. This thread is about the things I think fall under the "improvement" heading...some will agree, some will disagree. It's all good under the hood. Criticism, opinions, and comments welcome...
I'll post some pics of it as is when I bought it to start things off.

I told the '93 about this thread and she sends her regards. It was something like, "f him."

I may be retarded... but I'm a little confused as to what the thread is about? If it's just to whore out the 94' Amen. If you are starting a real build thread, boost it.
#14
It's about past, present, and current changes in the works. Things that I think need improvement over a stock Corrado. Boost isn't an option for this one. Too much hassle with CA smog inspections.
You may or may not have seen this...
It is currently much further along the disassembly stage.![]()

Told myself I would never install a strut bar on the this car for the fact that it requires cutting threaded studs off the strut tower. Not my idea of "easily undone". But I'm over that...
I wouldn't say this is exactly a noticeable improvement...but it's got the rare-provement factor going on. So it only seems fitting that it go on the '94. If it were just any old Eibach bar it would be sitting on the shelf. Like these.... lol.
No worries, I have plans for all three. That will come later...

Does this mean the '94 will be in pieces for years to come or that you will finish it, than sell it to Jeff?![]()

I totally agree. Mine had the Eibach bar when I bought it and it was installed terribly. They banged up the lip of the rain tray to get to the rear bolt. When I took it off the tops of the strut towers were disgusting. I had them cleaned up and the holes welded shut. Nice clean look now without the bar there. I don't care if it has any driving improvements.
