In honor to all the awesome people I met here I will make an effort to get a small gtg going.

Thanks to everyone who contributed in a positive way. You guys/girls know who you are.

Yea i heard about the linden one at apple bees but have never been. Have also been considering checking out PAR or tri dubbin but those are really still kind of far. A more local one would def be nice. If your going to head out to one or if you're going to start one in union county let me know.

It would be awesome just to drive down 22 and meet. I would definitely be into it. I work in Rahway so I could just grab something to eat around here and then head over to 22.

I live in Bridgewater so the further down 22 west in union county the better.

meet we evar set up lasted.

Exactly...all far,Im trying to run something close with a good crowd.

I'm aware of the mindset the local VW drivers have. It's always a competition with them. idk lol

Its not. A friend of mine is trying to start a meet there. We were there once with about 10 cars and no one bothered us. Its the parking lot closest to Morris on the side of the lowes garden center.

we used to do em at the old pathmark on rt 22 ( http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...-on-modays-cnj ) and it was pretty good then people started going to other meets but they just paved 22 and its a big lighted lot we never really got bothered

What day are you planning for? I was thinking Tuesday wouldnt be bad so not to compete with the big wed & thurs established meets...

As for the lot we can always just pick one to get it going and talk about a better location for the future ones??

how about we do one on friday at the best buy on 22 after 8ish? then we can if it doesnt work out for some people it can always get changed
