Just finished my sqaureback after it being on stands for a year. still a few issues before it is inspected, but overall its a good runner and super fun. it has a brand new engine, less than 100 miles on it. specs are 1641, balanced rods, engle w110 with straight cut cam gear, flowed and cc'd heads with hd springs. spanish weber 34's with less than 1000 miles on them, case was washed before assembly. merged exhuast with stinger and j tubes, also have heater boxes in great shape and muffler if you'd choose to go that way. all new parts besides the case. new tires. powder coated tins. most rust has been repaired still one rocker to do, but everything was cut out welding new metal in and sealed correctly. dash has seen some custom metal work, pad was removed and filled plus custom hoods were made over the gauges. seats are out of a early 80's benz, red leather and very comfy. I made the rood rack out of 6061 aluminum with brazilian cherry boards. I seriously hate to sell this car as it's my dream but as with many people things are getting tighter. will continue to work on it and will be inspected soon which will make the price much firmer. link to some photos will add more when time is available also have a ghia bumper with overrider and bumperettes that will be custom fit if I don't get rid of it first. price drop $3000 Takes it. currently working on fitting a 55 chevy belair bumper for the rear. Also took out lights so I'll be putting new gasket in them. Might try and get it in primer over my christmas break.

Engine specs are:
1641 cc aa cylinder and jugs
balanced rods
engle 110 cam w/ straight cut cam gear
heads were flowed on bench for optimum efficiency/power
heads cc'd and new valve seats and guides put in
hd single valve springs w/ chromoly retainers
009 dist. w/petronix flame thrower ignition
all new seals/gaskets
1 5/8 merged exhaust w/ fiberglass wrap and stinger "muffler"

Sure there is some stuff I'm forgetting but that's basically it. As for the rest of the car I had plans on doing a full custom with it. trim is already shaved off, side view mirrors deleted, drivers side has impala mirror mounted on the door. rockers and rust in fenders have been replaced with new sheet metal. still some other spots that could use some attention depending how far you'd want to go with it, including under the battery, no holes yet. have earlier style front turn signals to put on, as well as originals if you prefer. both original bumpers included as well as a 55 chevy belair rear that I had sectioned to fit. some extra glass, original front seats, and an extra front clip minus the fenders will be included as well as whatever other misc. stuff I have specific to the car.

i know I am being impatient but 650+ views and not one reply. what am I doing wrong, what else do I need? I'm pretty sure $3000obo is a fair starting point as I just put over$2000 with labor into the engine. TALK TO ME. IT NEEDS TO GO.

Its a solid car now with all the work you've done on it.

Visually, its been really personalized it with the scallops, front bumper treatment, Pauly's paint job, the stinger; among other touches.

In my opinion, you aren't doing yourself any favors with these pictures. Shoot a little video of it running so it really shows off the new life you've given the thing.

valid point, I did make it alittle bit to much of my car in terms of resale, but nothing that can't easily be redone. The paint in my opinion should be redone anyway unless you want the raty look, I have a different exhaust other than the stinger, the extended shifter is just threaded onto a stock shifter, seats unbolt and the really clean stock ones can be bolted right back in. Maybe I'll start doing some of that stuff. Here's a video of it a local swap meet this past fall.

haven't updated in a while but the front pillars are all done, middle pillars are gone and one side of the rear is close to finished. it will be a panel wagen so no side glass to worry about. keep in touch.
