The cruise control will not engage and the glow plug indicator is flashing in the dash. I replaced the brake light bulbs and switch The issue went away for a few days but came back. Any suggestions on how to use the VAG COM to solve this issue?

      Regards,
      Eric

Interesting. The last time I did an autoscan I didn't get a brake switch: signal implausible.

Bad cluster, key or key coil/harness.

The brake light switch is faulty again or you have a poor connection or loose fuse for the current track.
