We were all thinking the same thing, even the owner was shocked. He only had 5 votes from us, I still don't know how he even placed

there was ALOT of that going on, when me and johnny were walking around actually judging cars....there was a group of girls asking all their friends the numbers of their cars.... psh anyone can have my trophy, i remember back in the day when its wasn't about trophies, it was about meeting great people, and putting faces with usernames..... i must've missed the memo. and the whole competitive part of the show was nothing like it is now.

Yea no disrespect to mark or who ever runs this show but it seams to be all over the place ...he needs more staff for one...I know trophies aren't every thing but at least give everybody a fair shot..I had the r32 cabrio and placed 2nd that was put in the super mod class because I had a engine swap ...so what about the mk2s with vr swaps they were just modified didn't get that at all and my car plus a couple others weren't even on the ballet ...also anybody could of grabbed 50 ballet sheets if they wanted to and voted for there own cars...just didn't get it...super mods maybe should of been parked together ...don't know...super mod to me would be soup to nuts done on a car....anyway had a good time met some cool people and thanks for the votes!!!

ahhhhh **** see id dint even know you were in super mod.....i voted for you for the cabrio class i think.....i know i wrote you down because you were the first car i saw that wasn't on the ballet...

i agree though..... there was 4 mk6's in the class, im guessing the white jetta on sawblades was in our class..... i didn't really think it was fair for a stock red mk6 and the white jetta to be going up against me and my friends bagged GTI's....another thing was no one asked one question about my car....i was sitting on a bench right behind it....i heard alot of "o its on bags that **** is gay" but no one asked about it.....so no one would have known the car is stage 2+...or anything about my wheels. people choice shows never seem fair but hey, what can you do.

    loved your cabby though

I actually had to question the guy sitting there (said he was your brother) why I didn't see the car in the cabby class. He said it was in super mod. My next question was "an engine swap justifies super mod?"

I told my coworker about the show... hes a corvette guy. He said this happens all the time at shows, so people are disqualified.
    Get over it.

And cars that weren't even there were getting votes. LOL

In all fairness, adding judges to this event may make sense but, this is a one man operation we're talking about here. Marc busts his ass to put the show together.

He knows better than anyone what he'd fix but, guess what, there is only so much 1 guy can do. I think we should focus on giving him credit on pulling off the event the way he did. I'm sure the guys/girls that brought all their friends to vote know who had the nicer cars.

At any rate, them polish girls working at the pizza place were mad euro.

open judging is always a good idea. The car that got 1st in mk3 deserved it. But no one even noticed the mk3 jetta euromedians booth that was showing car. That was mine felt like it should of placed and would of without open judging

I'm sure he isn't willingfully doing all the work himself, you know what I mean?

It seems to me that all the people that have issues with the judging should volunteer to be judges next year.

    Problem solved.

Not knowing who's car is who, I thought since I got third, the red jetta on borbets and yours got 1 and 2. Then I walked past that red jet with the trophy sitting on the engine and thought WTF?

So who got first in mkiii jetta?

In my class it really didn't matter who placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, cause the #'s were not listed on the voting sheet. Staples messed up. Everyone thought I was in the R32 class so I don't know if the votes got counted or not. They had to write it in. Mark said 3 votes separated 1st ,2nd, and 3rd. I had a great time talking and voting on cars and seeing old friends again.

In the end, the thropy is in my garage sitting next to the other 40+ thropies never to be seen again by anyone except by me.

Except the "Best of show" thropy fron 2011 cult classic because it is a work of ART.
