So last night I finished Act I by myself. Tonight my friend and I played some co-op and got through Act II and part of Act III. I was hoping it would update my personal Campaign game, but it didn't. Now if I want to play by myself again I have to re-do all that I did tonight. Not very cool.

Have you tried selecting a chapter instead of continuing? Not sure if that will work, but worth a try if you have not already thought of that.

haha that's funny, I was playing last night aswell and we have a good team one round and the other team was bad and they kept complaining but I have to keep reviving them . Anyways going to play some more tonight if anyone is interested.

I think the problem is that we chose Arcade mode when we did the campaign. The thing is, we started off in Act II, so I figured it would save our progress.

anyone here get the limited edition? if so take out the COG tag in the package, on the back of the cog tag there is more writing including a DLC code. Anyone know what this DLC code is for?

It unlocks the Adam Fenix model in Multiplayer. The COG is pretty sweet.

Very nice video. I am far to schitzo when it comes to one on one battles. Also, if someone ever says the SO is overpowered have them watched that vid, because that is ridiculous.

I have seen alot of Youtube vids the last 2 days showing head shot kills with the sniper rifles w/o zooming. I watched Cream (he was in the 4v4 on MLG tv that I linked release night) on Twitch.tv and he never zoomed in, and at one point went 22-0 with just headshots. They say the hit detection for head shots is rediculous. You ever get a chance watch him work the sniper rifle.

BORING.

my god, i hope this gets better. all it is, short combat section, open a co-op door. fight a few enemies, watch a LONG boring in-game cutscene.

online is the best part though! had some fun with that too. i am unbeatable at chainsaw duels. even if someone has a turbo controller they will still probably lose

when you finished on hard did you finish without losing a single round? I'm trying the beast mode insane and seriously levels 5-8 (before you get corpser) are so dam annoying. anyone here wanna go for it tonight? you gotta beat it on insane WITHOUT losing a single round. I've beat it on insane before and the only tough rounds again are 5-8 (one of them will usually get you).

I think I tapped out my weekend halfway through level 25 onto 26.

I am so much more better at objective based games. I can't for the life of me stay positive in TDM. I jump into KOH and do work. Friday night I had a match on Gridlock with 41 kills in KOH. Doesn't say much for my teammates, and half of the enemy team quitting, causing the game to turn into mostly bots. I will say you forget how long these matches go until the end of the game. 15-18 min long matches. No wonder it takes forever to rank up.

I still think the MP is so much better than Gears 2. Dedicated servers have revived my love for the MP in the Gears franchise. For a long time, even being in a Gears clan, I couldn't play this game without wanting to punch a baby in the face.

I'm the same, I'm OK in TDM, usually breaking even or going a little positive. But I tried some KOTH last night and went like 17-30 or something. Maybe I just need to practice a little more in it.

I'll be playing a lot more MP from here on out. I finished the campaign last night. I'm really surprised at how much I am enjoying this game.

I played the first Gears for about an hour 2+ years ago. I never played the second one. I wasn't expecting much but bought it since most here love it and figured I'd give it another try.

The campaign was fun. Formulaic and a bit repetitive, but still very very fun.

Beast and Horde were both tons of fun last Saturday though, and playing KOTH with Jester yesterday was frustrating but fun...I just need to get better.

OT, but I was scanning my friends list yesterday and it said Merk hasn't been on in like a month...whats up with that? RRoD? His smack talk in COD reminds me a lot of the over the top dialogue in this game.

I'm still at 21, but in just in that session last night i started at 16 and went to 21 so it was worth it. Great playing with you man. Maybe again later if I see you on.

i love when people say weapon skins make you easier to spot, you know what else makes you easy to spot? that god dam blue/red glow your whole character model gets.

why does the game do that? it hought it was only for the leader in capture the leader but that video u posted is execution and the locust is glowing red.

I suck so bad at this game. Can anyone confirm that a better TV makes a difference? I am pimping an old 52 inch projection and fine details are not existant. If not, then I just suck and should give up.

BTW...the guy in that video is annoying. I hate uber competitive people. Its a game. We dont all play to be uber studs. Calm down.
