However it's needed that same hour of work for what, 18 months? And even when Andrea has pushed me and said, hey let's go work on the GTI, I just wasn't interested. Right now it feels like a lynchpin and the thought of trying to sell it swirled around for several months.

If it sells, someone will get a cool car with lots of nice stuff and will likely do more with it that I have or would. If it doesn't, maybe that will be the catalyst for motivation, who knows.

Not without a bit of work, no. Plus the tags are expired and it's overdue for emissions.

I helped put this car together. It could be running in under 2 hours if it is sitting the way I remember it.
Derek could then go through it and tidy up whatever is needed or wanted.
its a shame that jeff wont just finish it.

For $1,000 this doesn't sound like too bad of a deal.

I just don't know enough about MK2's to really know what i'm looking at. I'd rather look into something like this than the $1200 i was looking to add new lips to my wheels for the TT.
