    1992 Volkswagen GTI w/1996 2.0L ABA swap $3000

    1992 Volkswagen GTI with a 1996 2.0L ABA engine swap.

    Head is ported/polished. valves unshrouded
    Race valves/288 cam installed
    Bottom end is stock
    Stock ECU
    Header with straight exhaust and Borla muffler.
    Solid aluminum front engine mount.

    Stock 5 speed tranny with new clutch/pressure place installed

    Team Dynamics 15x7's w/ Yokohama A048's mounted on them.

    Ground Control camber plates and suspension
    Single adjustable Koni yellows
    600lb front springs/700lb rear springs
    No front bar/26mm rear bar

    New pads/rotors up front

    Brand New OMP Grip and harness
    OMP steering wheel
    OMP four point harness
    Autopower roll/harness bar
    No interior otherwise

    No AC or Heat
    Windshield cracked

    Paint has been damaged from sticker removal on top.
    Paint on rear bumper is peeling.
    Paint isn't to bad otherwise.
    It has a draw that drains the battery in a day or two.

    Built for time trials and track days.
    Will need a catalyst installed in the exhaust system if you want to get it inspected.

    It runs, quite well.
    Just installed a new battery and wheel studs.

    I would drive it daily but it does not have a catalytic converter so I don't think it will pass emissions in Austin. I've been trying to get a sticker for it.

    Only has door cards and dash as far as the interior.

    Pretty much a race car without a full cage.
