Anyone have any sort of coupon code for ECS tuning. Preferably free shipping. I'm looking to place a decent order (at least for myself...) whiteline bushings, spreader tool and suspension tool for the suspension, as well as (and I think this is where my big hunk of shipping charges is coming from) the votex rear valance. I really want to play this order but the outrageous cost of shipping has me wanting to look else where. (I typically ordered through MJM, and I always got free shipping on my parts, big or small. So this just has me wanting to maybe contact them again)

      This

I will say one thing in his defense about ECS Tuning. I went to order a ball joint for a friend. It came out to $10 shipping, nbd. So I figured I'd buy something with free shipping (LED license plate bulbs). But that did not give my entire order free shipping, just the bulbs...weird.

No no. It's just i can't justify spending $130 shipping anywhere. I'm sure you'd second that. Thats money I'd rather put else where...

      Like hookers and blow.

There are some things that you cannot avoid, and they are shipping charges and tax (unless you live in my lovely state)

Just something you need to budget a little extra for. Unless you can drive out to them and pick everything up.

do you have any idea how large the box has to be for the valence

i love people who complain about shipping hey guess what the companies have to pay for the shipping and ups changes thier rates pretty much on a daily basis and they charge extra for boxes over certain sizes and oddly shaped

STFU about its never going to change

Same thing with people trying to buy stuff off of Vortex. Selling parts sucks because most people have never shipped anything larger than a letter home to mom.

I was searching around for some coupon codes for ECS, from what I understand it's only common for them to pop up around the holidays. I ordered by stuff from ECS (UPS standard shipping) at 2:57pm, the order was marked as shipped at 3:14pm, the order arrived at my local facility at 7:25am. Unfortunately, UPS will not let me pick up the package on a Saturday - so I have to wait until next weekend to install all my nice stuff.

I have sent them an e-mail in the past. Unless they find some shipping alternatives, I will find other stores where to buy my stuff.

      Shipping rates from DBC Performance:

      Coilovers, Intake, Swaybar - $40
      APR K04 - $5

and this is to the state of Hawaii!

So drive out to Ohio and pick it up... A valence is pretty dang big hence the large shipping charge. Gotta pay to play, man up or move on.
Pm me for any and all glass questions and inquires, or any VAG-COM needs.

just to chime in on a dead thread. I used to do a lot business with a company called sonicelectronix, they shipped everything for free. And I mean everything. Batteries, 50lb rolls of 0 gauge wire, headunits, 40lb subwoofers.. whatever, for free.

the shipping from ECS is ridiculous, no doubt about it. Yes it costs them money to ship the stuff, but other companies do just fine without charging for shipping.

If you feel our site or shipping has an error please feel free to contact me or email us.

We try to be competitive with our shipping rate - Most of our ECS brand product will have free shipping along with other parts/kits on the site. Weight/size has a good factor into shipping but also don't forget about the dimensions of the box that the part needs to be shipped in - bigger the box more space to take up in the USP truck, will result in more money to ship that part. On smaller items please add to the order what you will need later on to save on shipping (Service kits, oil, ect). Pricing on fuel - what's hurting everyone not just us, that is the best on shipping right now. We insure that the part will get you as the date supplied in our tracking that goes out with ever order!

nothing is ever shipped for free EVER it is impossible the company would loose money on everything they sent out its rolled into the price trust me on that
