What specs on the wheel are you going with? I had planned in 20x9 et35 and I'm worried now that they may stick out past the fenders. I may have to find an alternative wheel.

There is no way I would go 20x9 et 35 you are asking for rubbing issues big time.
I the wheels I am looking at will be 20x8.5 et 43 or 45 just to make sure they will tuck in with no rubbing.

I had a shop do it for me. I know they tapped in to the sub in the trunk that I have from factory.

btw its a 10" JL Audio

I got a system in my SE. What they did was tap into the rear left speaker using a line out converter. They installed the device in the trim of B pillar.

Thou shalt not exaggerate existing wheel gap by installing 20's. Thou shalt first lower the car a reasonable amount.

However, Mreuro, your car looks excellent. And I think your new wheel selection will be a nice tie-in for the shiny OEM Passat grill (the black OZ's are awesome, but I felt you needed to blackout your grill to align the aesthetic.)
