this is not a Heffner kit, this kit looks hacked up, they don't want to show their welds and things are just "cut out of the way?!" who tuned it? how does it run?

the intercooler is heffner, the rest may not be. UM tuned it. not sure how it ran-didn't see it anywhere but the show parked.

The 4.2l had Twin GTX35R's. Owner is shooting for around 900hp I believe. Just got done early last week before the show so he didn't hit the dyno yet.

i got to watch them drive it from one place in the show to another, and it sounded badass, as it rolled along at all of 2mph

This r8 was parked next the orange mkII with white wheels (which i believe was a vr6 turbo). Wish I had info on it but there wasn't really anyone near it when I was checking it out.

The car is owned and built by Dave at Eastside with the help of a couple friends. Ive seen this car on an almost daily basis since he got it about 2 weeks ago and all fabrication was completed from scratch in house at a topnotch level, as far as the intercooler goes it is not a heffner's piece but it does share similarities seeing as its built around a 1000hp garrett air to water core and heffner's uses the smaller 750hp version in there cooler and as far as appearance with limited space alotted theres not much room to get creative while still be functional. If you'd seen it with the bumper on you can see how tightly everything is packed in the back of the car it would become obvious that the header wrap is there to serve a purpose and not to cover welds. Ithink everyone would agree that a glowing hot exhaust an inch or two away from a plastic bumper is not a good look. And last but not least there is nothing hacked out of the car the only things missing (properly removed and set to the side neatly) are the factory suitcase exhaust and one heatshield, also the two vacuum lines leading to the actuators on the exhaust tips have been plugged do the fact they were removed on the old exhaust. If anyone would have asked dave he would have gladly shared the 100 +pictures on his phone he took throughout the build as he was to busy to build the car and support a build thread in the short time frame it was all done. But for everybody looking for detailed pics and insight rest assured a thread will be posted

nooo, i drove from Atlanta up tho.
was like 12-14 hours of driving.

from spokane, its 1 day and 18 hours, or so the iphone says.
