I thought it was a great episode! Cool to see the portal between both worlds.

It's back!
Is Peter gone for good? The one Watcher is definitely conflicted. Fauxlivia is still a bitch.![]()

I liked it. Peter will be back. The watcher failed on purpose because he thought it was the right thing to do.![]()

This is probably my favorite show on TV... BUT ...I thought that was a pretty weak opener. Just didnt really grab me or interest me the way most episodes do. Still enjoyable. ...just not quite yp to the normal standard.

John Noble was great again, Walter seemed very frail and vulnerable without the influence of Peter. The quick-access portal was cool, it's a great new device to add to the shows' bag of temporal tricks.

I saw a behind the scenes interview, and Anna Torv was saying this season it's like starting fresh. People that have met before now don't know each other because of the timeline change. Like how Lee didn't know Olivia in this ep. I think it's a way to attract new viewers, easier to understand storyline to get ppl into the show, then the fun will begin later.
John Noble was awesome. You can so easily tell that in this timeline he hasn't had Peter's influence on him for the past few years.![]()

Didn't realize this was back, didn't see a commercial for it till today.

More Fringe!
First episode wasn't anything special, but I'm really curious to see what direction the show takes after what could have essentially been the final episode last season.

Gonna be very interesting how they explain peter and his whereabouts
#15
What the... I thought the other Broyles bit it during last season.![]()
#16
He did.... I wondered the same thing.
Was he restored when Peter vanished and an alternate timeline created?
Wasn't too stoked on this episode either. Seems like they are treading water just to fill in a few weeks.

This thing with Peter Vanishing as if he's never existed doesn't make sense. Shouldn't everything else, the machine, the portal and any connection or knowledge of the other universe also have vanished?

A hundred dollars on your hair, fifty on your nails, fifty on make-up, two hundred dollars for an outfit. You ladies spend four hundred dollars to bring home a thug that ain't worth ten cents!

Anyone else notice what looked liked a Watcher in the doorway behind Olivia as she was walking out of the hospital?

My wife caught this... I wonder if that will be the easter egg for this season (find the Watcher!).
I'm still trying to figure out if Walter had his brain tampered with since Peter never existed. He seems less "off" when he's focused but obviously he has major social problems due to Peter not being around to anchor him to reality.
Would Bell have messed with Walter's brain if he had never crossed over to steal Peter?

Wait, I thought the Observers job was to watch, and not interfere? They're interfering in a huge way.. was that explained or did I miss it?

Yep, there is observer in every episode.
They are not supposed to interfere... but they did with Peter and when the ice broke. ...I shouldn't say "they" its was really the one guy, who seems to have human emotions or empathy, when he isnt supposed to. Anyway... the observers have been attempting to right that wrong every since.
I think the last two episodes rules... I love how they're approaching the storyline with Peter. They've won me back over. No new episode this week though![]()

Last episode was the best in some time.
The idea of Peter simply being 1 minute or so 'out of phase' with their timeline was an interesting twist.

That Nissan scene was ridiculous. I actually yelled at the TV, lol

No worse then the Ford Edge placement earlier this season! It looked like a car commercial
Great episode! Interesting to see that Jones is back and behind the shape shifters. Did anyone else get the feeling like that was the mid season finale that should have aired before the Christmas break? It really left me wanting more unlike the monster of the week episode they left on back in November.

I hope they're able to finish up the series with a logical conclusion...![]()
