I took 2nd place in class A Mild. I am very happy that I even placed with so many amazing dubs.
Does anyone know if the green Caddy placed? We judged him...I was hoping he had placed cuz he had a nice truck.

took 3rd in mk5 mild class
Does shaved handles and pulled fenders put me the wild class?
I always say that I don't care about winning and I don't care about trophies; but when it boils down to it, H2O is the one show I go all out for.
Spent three hours literally scrubbing the car. My doors were open, my gas cap was open, my hood was open, my hatch was open and I had a display in front of and behind the car.
The car is tastefully modified and I know what it takes to win a show since I've been going to car shows with my family since I was in a stroller. I've also judged at more shows than I can count.
Long story short, the classes and the judging at H2O were sub-par.
I still had a good time with friends and I don't need that plaque to tell me that I own a relatively decent car. I highly doubt that I will waste my time again next year though.
This was the first show this year that I felt that I was judged properly. But I too saw many flaws in the classes and judging. I think this year has been the year of bad judging/shows/sandbaggers.
I understand that it rained and they didn't have all of the area they were planning on, but they should have came up with a solution for parking with your class. I don't mind if a better car places over me, but this year was complete crap.
My judge said I had "30 seconds to explain my car . Anything after that he was walking away " but in the end he stayed for about 2 min
