I took 2nd place in class A Mild. I am very happy that I even placed with so many amazing dubs.

Was he in Class CC? I'm not sure how they had the classes split up to be honest. It could have been organized a bit better.

Yes it does .. from what i understand . Any major body work that changes the factory appearence of the car would be considered "wild" just like If you have a boosted vehicle that wasnt from the factory

There were a lot of "sand baggers" at the show. People in my class with shaved/pulled body work. Fully custom/re-wrapped interior. Definitely not mild

yup.any major bodywork, color changes, engine work/swaps, forced induction, interior swaps... all put you into wild. There is usually a list of mods that constitute "Wild", on the h2oi site, but it's not there now, must only be up while registration is open.

      I hear you on that.

I always say that I don't care about winning and I don't care about trophies; but when it boils down to it, H2O is the one show I go all out for.

Spent three hours literally scrubbing the car. My doors were open, my gas cap was open, my hood was open, my hatch was open and I had a display in front of and behind the car.

The car is tastefully modified and I know what it takes to win a show since I've been going to car shows with my family since I was in a stroller. I've also judged at more shows than I can count.

Long story short, the classes and the judging at H2O were sub-par.

I still had a good time with friends and I don't need that plaque to tell me that I own a relatively decent car. I highly doubt that I will waste my time again next year though.

      / rant

      ^ Yes.

This was the first show this year that I felt that I was judged properly. But I too saw many flaws in the classes and judging. I think this year has been the year of bad judging/shows/sandbaggers.

Yea dude, the night before we were up till like 2am getting it ready. Scrubbed my bay, inside my fenders, jams. At the show I had everything open just like you. Even the glove box and center console was spotless. My judge probably took 2 minutes to look at my car. Didn't even ask me about anything.

I understand that it rained and they didn't have all of the area they were planning on, but they should have came up with a solution for parking with your class. I don't mind if a better car places over me, but this year was complete crap.

My judge said I had "30 seconds to explain my car . Anything after that he was walking away " but in the end he stayed for about 2 min
