I'm not sure if it's the writers ran out of ideas or they got different writers.
However the entire show seems to be people reciting one liners and trying to say something edgy enough to be quotable.

    Good that they renewed Revenge

Boo that they cancelled Secret Circle

Win some, lose some I guess.

    YEAH FOR HAPPY ENDINGS!!!!

I've been "over" 30 Rock for a while. It's become very bland imo.

Don't Trust the B" is ok sometimes but it's so repetitious that it got old quick for me.

    No idea why but I really like Whitney. {shrug}

I thought BFF's was really clever and funny and it's a shame that died so fast. Those 2 chicks really cracked me up and were quite a bit "different" from most of the gal-pal relationships on TV right now.

The show is played out - a shell of its former self.
    3-4 seasons was enough.
I still watch for the silliness.

There are no old Porsches - just new owners.

BFF's was another show that was starting to grow on me. And stars were cute, in a strangely age-appropriate way.

    NYC 22 (CBS) - canceled 5/13/12.
Shocked. SHOCKED. That show was so bad, hasn't it only been out for three weeks or so?

As a 41 year old man I hear what you are saying.

I even started to like BENT after a few episodes.

    Agreed on both points.

Wow, talk about back from the dead! How to be a Gentleman is back!

CBS started to air the remaining episodes last Saturday. According to wikipedia, there's 4 episodes left, excluding the 2 that already aired last Saturday.

I'm surprised they didn't just burn off the episodes online.

With the new SAG and DGA agreements, it doesn't make any financial sense if run the original online. It will kick those episodes into a different residual bucket vs. the ones they aired on network. Since CBS already paid for these episodes, they might as well air them.

But they can also do damage wasting prime airtime with a show nobody wants to see. They don't need to further erode viewership -- reruns of a more popular show would be better.

Noticed there was a new BFF's on TV tonight, turns out it was one of the last 2 eps already on Hulu.

That show really cracked me up. Shame it never found an audience.

Just finished the final episodes. Maybe they were an acquired taste, but I liked them (except for the irritating child).

I watched the first two episode of BFF but stopped. Didn't catch my interest. But the first 4 is on the on-demand channel and I'm guessing the last two will be on tomorrow.

Might as well finish the series since all the shows wrapped up for the season.

BFF's is like BENT, it took me a few eps to get into it, but once I did I was pissed that it got cancelled.

It's been said before, but I'll say it again. If Seinfeld premiered nowadays it would have been canceled after 3 episodes. Networks don't let ANY show grow and build an audience. If it's not an instant hit, it's cancelled.
