by the way i enjoy most of the cars in the vw scene... i love stance and h2oi is filled with it.... me and my friends do all of the work and fabricate everything for ourselves, including the 4 inch extended top hats, notch raised motor, cage and much more...

i got so much respect this weekend and i greatly appreciate it from all the real car enthusist

a few kids gave me **** but drove stock height mk 2's with spray tinted tail-lights

i would like to thank psu, the floss filthy crew fo giving me so much respect, and the kid in the hood rich audi for pulling over and making sure i was ok, your guys scene is filled with alot of good people and a few arrogant rich kids, all in all its way better then the honds scene and sorry if you feel like im intruding your "scene"

hi everyone, my name is jake looney, im 21 tomorrow and i signed up to clear some things up for the narrow minded people

-the car sat for 6 months saturday night(one week before the show) i pulled a motor out of a civic
-monday i swapped parts from both motors to make one decent one
-tuesday i put motor in re-do wiring and get car to run and bolt cage in
-wednesday i prep for paint tape off and spray the car and finally getting my tires mounted make rears fit and button car up
-thursday i leave for h2oi


the rear arches look like **** i know, but the porevious owner used spray foam and bondo to re-do them, there is also an inch an a quarter taken out of the rear wheel arch ( call it radiused or whatever) they will be fixed over winter

you dont have to like my car you were probably 10 of 10000 people who gave me a thumbs down the whole weekend, car was shot for klutch online including rig shots while i was down there and Floss filthy asked me to rep there sticker i was in aww

to everyone who appreciates the car thanks so much, everyone else, sorry its not your cup of tea but it also isn't your car....

wheel specs are 15x10 -25 widest ever on the chasis that im aware of

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Danny raise the motor and fab up the top hats? Like I said, I could be wrong...but I can't stand when people take credit for other peoples' work.



On another note, I love the new wheels, but the stretch on the rear is just too much IMO, but at least you're smart and carry spares. I liked the car when it was white before all this stance **** started, back on the old black wheels you had. Though these wheels fit better than your old diamonds. Hopefully you go back to white again when you get the bodywork done...throw some graffiti on there again too, because you're DEFINITELY talented with that and I always thought that was badass.

kid is local up here. you didn't see any vw kids pulling 15x10's with a 195/45... who cares what the finders look like or if the paint job isn't a 5k job. that is not what it meant to him. he's all about turning heads and i believe that he accomplished that

No offence but I liked it better white. If I were you I would just try to spray bomb the front white to match. Needs a little bit more work, as it obv wasn't finished. Can't wait to see the final product

I don't own a rusty spray painted Civic or a MkV on Brotiforms with air ridezzzzzzz. I'm not mad, and I had a great time at H2O cruising the strip AND going to the show.

^^^this!!!!!!!!! it aint about how much it costs or the quality of the fab work. no matter what it is if you put your money, hard work and time into a car, it should be appreciated, so yet again, stop hating, this thing is dope, and from a standpoint always seeing and being around built cars, this was a true change of pace

talked to jake a couple of times with a group of my friends, hes a super chill dude and wasnt there for him to get attention, the car is super cool and it definatly took some creativity to fabricate to get it that low. my friend has an eg hatch like this and was picking his brain for a while and he didnt seem to mind, all in all it was nice to meet him and i dont think the vw community should be so narrow minded, after all we do bite off of every other style of customizing.

I ain't even mad, brah. You seem upset because people don't like the car, not everyone is going to like it. I imagine theres a lot of closed minded people in the scene, I'm not one of them but I still have my own opinion. I'm an enthusiast for cars not just vag cars, I own jdm, a lifted truck, bagged truck, and my vw turd and I'm a huge fan of hondas.... Doesn't mean I have to like everything about this car though.

Does it fit into today's "scene"? Yes (not for nothing' gents but H20=water and that honda is just as watercooled as any other VW there)
Does it look good? Yes
Would I drive it? F*ck no!

My taste stays with function over fashion. See what happens when the front axles of a FWD have such an extreme negative angle.
