My 86 is up for grabs i need to sell her quickly.

Its an 86 chassis, started life as an 86 1.8 8v, converted and ran as a 9a 16v for a while, now is currently powered by by a 93 raddo motor converted to obdii.
Front end has corrado suframe, w 96 jetta hubs and a arm and brakes I didnt want to convert to 5lug.
Rear axle beam is a 93 passat. Rear beam was rebuilt 4 years ago w new bearings, rotors,
      Transmission is a 96 passat 02a.
I installed a 60mm fp and accumulator box underneath to support vr fuel needs.

I stripped and repainted the car may of 2010, it is currently laguna seca blue just like an m3.
Windows were tinted 3 years ago by dan @ tinteks in parker. He does great work. Unfortunately two paszenger windows need retinted due to a neighbor kid w a bb gun. As well rear window needs retinted i broke it during remkval for paint.

I have a full set of 4 sebrings w yoko ice guard tires for winter with corrado stock springs.
I also have 5 matching lightweight ats cup wheels, and h&r ultra low coilovers for the summer.

The car has an electric sunroof.
An electronically dimming rear view mirror with temp and direction.
Car has a complete mkiii jetta dash installed with corrado pedal cluster.
      Scirocco front bucket seats.

I bled the brakes with castrol gtlma for improved braking performance and a higher boiling point.
Car has a 4 core modine radiator less than 1 year old. Engine temp sitting in traffic on a 100 degree day rarely gets to 210. It has avbrand new coolant pipe, low temp t stat, and new oil pan gasket.

      Car has powersteering.
I installed the mkiii hvac box complete sp it has ac and heat... ac not currently working due to a hole the low pressure hose. Evap, cond, comp, all there.
Emissions compliant. It has a 2 3/4 inch side dump exhaust that is loud but not obnxious.

      Many other things im forgetting.
I would like $2500 for entire car, springs, wheels and a truck bed full of spare parts, kframe, rear beam.

Its a sweet little car. It has been my dd for 5 years now. Would love to see it go to a good home. My 928 is very near driveable... i need the $ to buy parts n pay bills. Thx

My email is wutend16v@gmail.com. i will post pics this afternoon.

I don't really want to sell her... so somebody please come buy it from me before I change my mind and keep it!

I have a clean title in hand.

All 4 sebrings with corrado suspension currently installed ready for winter.
      Also has a single wiper.

Car also has been dynamatted on the front floorboards, tranny/exhaust tunnel...

      Fogs lights work.
It also has a 110 inverter mounted in the truck. Can power laptop, cell phone, drills, etc.

Any questions please feel free to email or call.

      Thanks

Im really on the fence about selling it. Don't really want to. But need the cash. Kinda stalling a bit, I plan to start a shop in a spring, been servicing cars for a year + now and have quite a few regular customers but money has been a bit shy the last two months and struggling now. Last week was really good money wise, but not enough to make up for a couple months of nothing.

It's fast, low, loud, and lots and lots of fun! Not to mention reliable. I haven't done much to it since I built it, changed the power steering pump (went bad) and fixed a broken vaccum hose... but other than that it has NEVER left me stranded, aside from running outta gas!! It has been one hell of a car.

I would love to convert it to an awd 24v 6 speed, but I absolutely have to finish my other two restorations before I can even think about tearing this one apart again. I've got that 80 porsche 928, and a 76 Dodge Powerwagon w200 as well, and love all three of them equally for their mechanical prowess.... But in their current condition are worth very little compared to what I have invested in them, especially the porsche. Thats why the jetta is for sale.

When I repainted it... I skipped the engine bay and the inside of the trunk... However, I did all the jambs, insides, and out of the fenders, radiator support... etc. By opening the doors you cannot tell it was repainted.

I planned to paint the engine bay, trunk gloss black or laguna and shave it... However... haven't had the time nor the $$.

Couple pics to show how far I had it apart for paint.

She's now halfway cut buffed n polished....

      Lookin damn good too...

I just might have to keep her and figure out how to make it a gtx then!

I love this car for three reasons...

      A: It's a vw,
B: It's simple to modify, and fun!
C: It's reliable no matter what I've done to it, starts and does it's job everyday...

Not a damn thing is sellin right now. Motorcycle, volvo, vw... parts...

Haven't decided what to do yet...

Probly gonna keep the jetta and the volvo at this point... give the volvo to the girlfriend n keep on buildin n modifyin the jetta...

Whats really pissin me off... is doin work for people and they all say yeah, yeah, got the money, then I fix the car/truck, and it comes down to payment time and everybody runs?? Don't get it. I always take 1/2 up front and then, I end up sittin on 5 cars waitin for payment... It's gettin real frustrating. Then I spend my time trying to get $50 bucks out of them every two weeks.. for a $500 worth of labor???sly:

I take credit cards via paypal!

      need more...

When they leave the car, have them sign something that says you will start charging storage fees.

      Tired of bs offers,

Gonna keep the car and all of its goodies... It's wetsanded, buffed, polished, and I'm adding a nice custom stripe to the sides. Gonna paint match the ATS wheels and continue modifying her.

Here we go again!! Love this car!

PM or email (paige_lynn39@yahoo.com) if so. I have a little cabby I'm trying to sell for a little more than you're selling this for. I'm deployed to the middle east but I should be back in the Rocky Mtn area by Christmas. If you still have it and I sell my Cabrio, we can do business. I'd really like to get my grabbers on this little gem. Oh and let me know if you or any of your friends are interested in a Cabrio.

Thx in advance and happy selling

Yeah, definitely. I'm interested in a cabrio or an old school air cooled vw for a next project... so we'll see.

I've gotta finish my current projects tho! You have any pics of your car?

I like European cars. Generally, the costlier they are to maintain, the more attracted I am to them. If they sit in the garage on blocks and don't run, I don't care. They're still mine.
