Story is:

Thursday night I "BYAHH Pelican" came over to vist a few gentleman that I am friends with out of Buffalo, NY.

Said "friends" have been drinking since noon, it was approximately 10pm when I arrived. We have a few more cold ones, out of the blue the pelican gets struck by a stray foot.

Some say the stray foot came from the grassy knoll, others say it was a magic foot situation. Either way all we know was at approximately 12:03 Friday morning, the pelican was struck from it's mighty perch and fell approximate 10.3 meters onto a broken rock surface below.

Shocked and awed by the utter disaster below, we quickly scrambled to the scene of the accident. After much thought and attempts to put the fragile bird back together, we pronounced the pelican dead at the scene.

In typical Maryland fashion, we placed the body in the closest open trunk available.

In the next coming days some mourned the loss of the pelican off of the deck, noting that the loss was a severe blow to the security deposit fund that was split between 10 people in a 9 person condo max.

Meanwhile the entire week the entire condo was bickering over highschool drama that was not only quite annoying but also counter productive to a vacation in general.

In the following weeks, some would note upon reaching the pelicans final resting point, that the bird had risen from it's metal tomb.

Back to fly another day. Possibly to live on as an extremely weighted shift knob. Or possibly a trophy.

All I know is, I couldn't be happier with the outcome of this tall tale. Long live the pelican.
