Looks awesome!!! Please post more pics like side shots and close ups. I'm interested to see how the wheel sits in relation to the body.

Always been terrified of getting them rolled in case I screw up the paint. Am I being over cautious?

I have had fender rolls on my 4,5, and now 6.

If the person knows what they are doing it shouldn't be an issue. This guy was telling me he can pull about 55mm before hes had to to body work on it because of paint. He also did it without a heat gun saying that new paint is pretty flexible.

I would never do it myself and was cautious about where i did it. I walked out of a body shop when they said they can do it but not using a fender roller. When I talked to this guy he said he rolls fenders all the time useing a fender roller he started telling me about JDM cars hes done and so one.. I felt pretty good about letting him go to town on my fenders.

Thanks for that, I will see if I can find a reputable place locally. If I remember rightly the rears are already flat anyway from the factory and it's only the fronts that need doing?

That is correct. 8.5 ET32 fits with no issues in the rear. Just the front was a bitch. I will make a post when i get a chance with pics all around. Fenders close ups etc..

Looks good, and I know they are light. I wish they made these in 18" I would strongly consider.

Is it just the 17" wheels that are making the car look higher than stock?

He probably just changed the wheels so the springs are not settled.

Also, the 245/40/17 are a smaller diameter than stock.

They are 255/40/17, the springs are settled. I only use them for driving to the track, at the track and driving home from the track. Yeah they do make the car look a tad higher. They are slightly smaller in overal diameter. I do think they look good as well but for everyday and a better look 18's at least! This is a good, cheap, light, track wheel, or even winter wheel.

So I'm currently debating between the RSe12s (black) and Enkei RSM9s (piano glossy black), also I kinda like the RSe07s. I like both of the Neuspeeds, but I really like the steel lip on the Enkeis. I really like dublife42's current setup (hope he doesn't mind me putting a pic here) because of the steel machined lip on his BBS CH-Rs.

Do you guys think the 18" RSM9s are too small to pull off the look dublife42 has? It seems that because the wheels are smaller (and the car most likely won't be lowered, either) the car more looks like a tuner rather than a refined performance machine, if you guys know what I mean.

Here is a pic of the RSM9s generated by TireRack:

I think the cgi doesn't look quite right because the steel lip looks really thick compared to pictures of the wheel in real life:

I like the wheels on this FR-S, but idk how these would look on an mk6. Also, I'd most likely get black lug bolts.

Sorry for all the pictures, just wondering your guys's opinion on how the overall look of the car would turn out with these wheels.
