I've got my eyes on a set of Oettinger Type RXX wheels. Got these on my car on Forza (3 and 4) and I think they look awesome.

You display excellent taste, sir. A classic, functional true motorsports design. The GTs are quite heavy, though. Can I interest you in an LM, perhaps?

I love the Lm rim. I dont see myself every paying that much for wheels. I dont think I would let myself buy reps either. I decided (for now) on the ultraleggeras 18x8 black.

Not understanding... aren't Ultraleggeras and Superturismo LMs within a couple of $ of each other? (~$350).

I thought you meant BBS Lm's. I thought you were high. Then I realized I was wrong

I'm leaning toward something like this.

I ordered the grey, so I want a wheel with a darker center with a more polished like rim.

I was thinking these would match my CSG.

The CH R's seem to be more popular but I thought these were nice and very toned down, especially for the money. Thinking 19x8.5

Always loved Oettinger stuff, but these wheels are 4lbs heavier than stocks.

29.7LBS (correct me if I'm wrong) per 19" rim is just little too much.

Does anyone know of the stock 19" wheels from the 2010 S4 will fit on the R? I'm pretty sure they are 19x8.5 et43 with a 66.6 center bore. I will be lowering the car slightly, but not slamming it.

      Thanks for the help.

Call me crazy, but I'm thinking of powder coating the stock rims black on my black Type R. Anybody know anything about how to do that?

Yeah, I remember seeing they were around 29 lbs (via my own research, they don't have it on the web site ) but I might trade a bit of performance for some style. I haven't been able to find any aftermarket wheels I like more.

2009 and up Audi hubs are larger in diameter so you will need centering rings to make the S4 wheels compatible.

All you have to do is find a reputable powder coating shop and tell them what you want. Take the tires off the wheels, take them to them, and they should be able to take care of the sand blasting, coating, finishing, etc. IIRC when I had it done on my 20th wheels it cost about $130 each, maybe a bit more.

      And psst: It's a Golf R. A Type R is a Honda
