Seriously? You know nothing about this guy. No one cares about your post count, and no one cares about what you are driving to H2O next year. I'll be sure to not lose any sleep over what you're driving, because I sure as hell didn't take a second glance at your R32 this year (whatever it looked like)

Sorry I actually took a car that was reliable. yep i had the "any pix of my blue evo thread"
as for it... i didnt hear any REAL negative words about my car all weekend, all hate was in good fun. but sorry you're butthurt. I still own 2 vw's so cry elsewhere.

Why are you crying? H2Oi is still and always will be a VAG event. Youre all sensitive because other makes were in OC during the weekend of the event? Grow up man seriously. Many people there used to own VAG cars but they have moved on. Its a natural part of life... You buy a car, you enjoy it for however many years, then move on to the next car. Pretty simple concept. Ive been going to H2Oi for a few years and I personally have never owned a VAG car but I would head down with my friends that had VW's. So just because of that Im not allowed to go?You can start a crusade to eliminate all non VAG cars if thats what you really want. Then maybe you can start a website like www.MyButtHurtsBecauseNonVAGCarsAreAtH2Oi.com You'll probably get a few followers. Until then, suck it up man.
P.S. Take my post count for whatever its worth to you...
Haters gonna hate.

I understand how the OP feels. It is a VW show/weekend; not a NOPI weekend. I even saw a 240 parked on the show grounds.![]()
But creating another bitch thread in the sea of bitch threads in this forum will not help.
Eventually another show will take H2O's spotlite as "the show" to go to in the year. Until then, stop crying. If you don't like it, don't go next year. Not a difficult concept.![]()

I like PSU, so don't take what I'm saying as me "hatin' yo," but the things I bolded could all be done in about 2 hours, and/or go hand in hand: clearly, if you put different wheels on, with a different bolt pattern, you'll need tires and adapters. I'm not too sure light bulbs should be called a mod, and I know for a fact a first aid kit isn't. Sure, it's a cool OEM piece, but it's not a mod anymore than throwing a set of floor mats in a car is.
I get that a ton of people want an all-VW H2Oi, and others don't care, but using the excuse, "It's all been done, everything is so similar," is stupid. Want to stand out? Do something insane. K-series Honda motor in a mk2, RWD swap, etc. There's plenty out there that hasn't been done to death. Cool things too. But people seem scared to either do something not Vortex approved, or to do something requiring more than a Craftsman 150 piece tool kit.
PSU, I like your posts, and I kinda dig your car, but rather than give up on it and go elsewhere, have you considered other directions to take the .:R? Turbo, shaved, tucked, bespoke interior, etc. All options worth looking into. If you're over the car, then it's whatever, but I'm just saying there are plenty of directions it could go and stand out and be different.

Hmm indubiously sir.
How is that, different people have diff. plans for their cars, if you look at panzer2.3 you can find he went in the performance direction. Not really only about looking "pretty", people do the same thing in the MK1 forum brah

The people, the cars, & the friendships are what make up the "scene." Not the fourms, nor the show's or the trophy's. Just knowing that they will go out of their way to give you a helping hand no matter the reason, is golden. People will come and go from the scene, but the true ones have and will always be there after the scene has long gone.

That mod list is taken directly from my thread... that thread is there to alleviate questions about what is done to the car.
You know how many PMs I get about what yellow bulbs I run or where I got a first aid kit? Of course I don't consider Nokya bulbs a modification, but I do get tired of answering the same PM over and over again.
Simply there to help other people out.
Park my car beside a stock R32 and examine the engine bays and then come and talk to me.
Countless hours have gone into cleaning the bay up all the while keeping it simple and OEM looking in the process.
Yeah, you should just stay in the MK1 forums. Seems like a better fit for you apparently.
I bet my car has seen more use than you could dream of. When's the last time you drove 700+ miles just to drive some back roads with other enthusiasts?
Thanks for the compliment.
That's the whole purpose of my car.
You guys can come at me all day.
You get out what you put in. Act stupid and cocky, and I'll return the favor.

If you don't like the way h2o is changing nobody is making you come, just go to local shows. Never had any issues with the non vag, except some BMW drivers but they're BMW drivers you expect that from them. I enjoyed seeing the different makes that look a lot better then most of the vws there, if you wanna see just vws stay home and surf vwvortex all day you'd see the same cars if h2o was strictly vw and save money. Let em be man. We have our gtg's down there and the show that's vw, why do we need coastal highway too?
#96
really you guys are arguing and bitching about each others cars over some clean jdm cars coming to a show
i most be stupid i like all cars as long as there clean styled
#97
This is the kind of elitist douchebaggery that got me to walk away from the "VW crowd" back in the 90's. It's really sad that people feel the need to say that other cars don't belong coming to a VW show. So, if I like VWs, but drive something else, I can't come appreciate other people's Dubs? Really????
I have zero brand loyalty - I can appreciate every marque and the love that people put into them. I've always been a VW guy in my soul (I've had 7 of them), but I can appreciate everything. I am a REAL car guy. At the end of the day, I don't give a **** if you rolled in driving a bone-stock '88 Hyundai Excel or a poked & stretched & JDM'ed '79 Dodge Colt, I'll still throw back a beer with you so long as you're not a douchebag.![]()

i dont think hes talkin **** about nonvag cars, just its a vw/audi event and non vag cars should atleast not park with vag cars. alot of space in the parking lots for you guys to park together and have your own get togethers and stuff. and if you can check vws cars out and vw owners can check your cars out. not a hard thing to do. just saying.![]()

IB4TL. Nothing wrong with non VAG cars. Were a lot of nice ones this year. Will always be a a vw/audi event. Cant wait till next year.

Personally I would rather have more non VAG cars down there than the new wave of VAG cars that are driven by disrespectful types and thieves. Just because they drive a non VAG car doesn't mean they don't appreciate what the weekend is all about. It isn't as if that we were over run by a bunch of cut springed fart can sounding outcast cars. Many of them were very well done and many of their owners were some of the nicest people I met all weekend. In a way it is almost a complement that they want to share the weekend down there with us. Just my opinion.
