It may be just a Tercel, but I appreciate anything that old in such good shape.
WOW. Take a look at this... who the heck keeps such a car in this shape for all these years ?
I want one !
Those Germans sure do weird things !
His 3 toyotas
Reminds me of the guy in Belgium who had the AE86 stored with something like 45km's in 1985.
But unlike the AE86, I don't necessarily see the fun in a Tercel.
Still, I'm with mac dre. It is nice to see a time capsule like this.

This brings back memories for me...my dad had an '85 3-door automatic Tercel for 14 years when I was growing up! This one has some minor differences being a Euro-spec model and one year older, but it's mostly the same car and very familiar to me. Toward the end of its life, when I was about 13 or so, I did a Bondo job to fix the rust holes in the tailgate, which was my first attempt at auto body work.
I rarely see these anymore around here...I guess the rust got most of them. Very cool find!
What made that a "Euro" model?
Let me guess: Sidemarkers & E-code frontward lighting and better rearward lighting/rear fogs?
Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. A normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow.

Nobody cares. You might have a car worth a ton of money in great condition, but i'd rather have a ragged miata.
Glad you know what we want. You would never drive this, and it isnt even good to look at..
I'd drive the balls off of that thing, But then again. I love old obscure cars.
A Ford, two Dodges, and a Volvo.
To me, the MR2 is the prize here, but I kinda like the early Tercel, too. We used a then-new MkII Tercel as a parts hauler at the imported auto parts store where I worked at the time. It was a base model (4 speed!) and a radio. That was it! It was fun to toss around, though. I'm usually not tough on my machinery, but I did bend a shift fork on that thing, putting it out of commission for a time.
The MR2 of that vintage I'd love to have. I have a friend who autocrossed one back then. What a blast of a car. If I didn't have to have 4 seats, I'd try to find one as a commuter.
