Hey, how do you open the weapon chest in sanctuary that has skulls on it?

You need to sign up for the shift account, then you will get one golden key to open it once. You can get more golden keys by entering in codes for them. At this point, Randy Pitchfork has been giving them out like candy, but the codes only work for 2 hours.

He actually just gave one out, but I'm not sure if it's still active.

That chest gives you amazing loot that is at your current level... All purples, and pinks(E-tech).

It's an infrastructure that Gearbox launched for Borderlands 2(which will also be used in other gearbox games) where they can give away in-game content for their games with redeem codes.

When in the game, go into extras, and you will see "shift". Sign up for that, it only takes a minute. That's what those codes are for, and you will need to enter them in there.

Yep, it glitches out. Two of the codes that were released for gold keys each gave me two keys. I've had a total of 10 now. Saved them all til I got to 50. Now I have some awesome gear.

Got to 50 last night. Beat the Warrior in Vault Hunter mode. Also co-op'd with some friends and beat Terramorphous a couple times. Vermivorous is tonight!

I haven't done it yet. But it's a giant Varkid. All you have to do is find a Varkid, or ideally, a lot of Varkids, and let it evolve 7 times. It's not guaranteed, but occasionally one of them will evolve into Vermivorous the Invincible.

You aren't all finished. You need to do it again in vault hunter mode... Get to 50, then beat "The Invincibles".

In vault hunter mode you don't want to do any side quests though. Because once you beat vault hunter mode at level 50, all those side quests will scale to level 50, and you start what is called "playthrough 2.5"... Prepare for epic loot and lvl 60 mobs.

OH yea I saw that, I don't like the little note that goes along with it that says: you will die. hah and yea I'm definitely going back rerunning the game, finding all the little places I wasn't at before. definitely wont be done done with it for a while

That's how I know I've beaten any loot-hunt game. I have such stuff that the game is trivial.

I would say somewhat yes. It is very easy killing opponents however the shield only had 19k capacity and easily is drained so there is some strategy to using it.

maybe a little premature, but when are they raising the level cap? I'm at 40 right now and all the farming on the warrior I'm doing definitely is gonna make 50 come quick.

I'd say it's really more of an FPS/Hack n' Slash n' Loot game.

It's all about killing TONS, and I mean...genocide-level of baddies, and trying to find awesome loot to give you an unfair advantage in slaying folks.

The audio tracks and commentary in the game are hilarious as well...

Yeah, apparently Gearbox decided to release her a week early.

Very fun. The Anarchy skill makes the game pretty damn interesting. Potentially 250+% damage bonus, but comes at a -250% accuracy reduction. You practically act drunk when you're aiming down the sight now, but nearly 200 points of damage from a single pistol shot at level 7 is pretty hard to pass up.

FYI, a lot of issues with people losing all their badass ranks with the mechromancer update. Reports of it on all platforms.

Tried out the Mechromancer last night.

Got to level 9 in a couple hours and got to say she is pretty fun. The anarchy skill is pretty crazy at low levels and I can't imagine what sort of damage you'll be doing in later levels. I think the highest stack I had was in the 110's and I was almost one-shotting mobs my level.

Definately going to test out the other trees, some of the skills look really cool. The bottom tier skill in ordered chaos is kind of disappointing, in my opinion.

Oh, and no bug.

That Ordered Chaos skill tree is all kinds of "lolwat" I like the one where you can burn the stack for more accuracy.
I don't like the final skill being melee oriented. I find you can't get up close to stuff without getting rocked.

I'm on the second play-through with Maya...I just want to find some good weapons. I honestly haven't found **** the whole time. Not a single orange.

It truly is a double-edge sword. The accuracy loss is manageable at lvl 150, but at 250, it's crazy. I literally miss enemies point blank with a shotgun at that level. I can't imagine how it gets when you max it all out. That said, it takes only about 2-3 regular, non-crit shots to kill badasses now.
