Up for sale is one of the last project cars I have been keeping around. It has become time to clean up all of my extra VW parts and cars. So here it is, this is definitely a to be finished project situation. The car is a 1992 Jetta GL with clean PA title. It has been a short commute daily driver for the last 4 years, but I have just never had time to finish it due to other projects and work. It runs and drives completely fine, without issue. It is mainly in need of body work and paint. I am going to break it down with the good and bad points.

What I am listing is what you can expect to get, without issue. I have not been around on these forums for some time, but if you do some searching you will find that I have made a long list of contributions to these forums and that I am very familiar with these cars and very reputable as a seller.

Priced at $1500, which is more then reasonable considering the amount of rare and/or desirable parts that it comes with. I fully understand that as it sits it is not a pretty thing to look at, but it does not need much work in reality to make it a very nice car for someone who has the time.

    The Good:

Full matched recaro interior in overall very fair condition
Low mileage 2.0L ABA swap 54k
Full hydrolic 02A transmission conversion (hydrolic clutch and cable shift) under 90K
Proper Passat 2.0 inverted intake manifold
    Techtonics highflow cat
Techtonics 2 1/4 cat back exhaust with borla muffler
    Neuspeed sport springs
    Kamei M3 truck spoiler
GLI quad round setup with red stripe grill
    Body kit skirts and flairs
    Power windows and mirrors
    Wired and functional VAG-COM
    Power sunroof conversion
    4 Wheel disc brakes
OEM non-AC interior and correct engine conversion
    Passat dual slim radiator fans
Tires are at ~90% all around

Maintenance items (all done within the last 3 months, ~2000 miles)

New wheel bearings all around front and rear
New Brakes pads and rotors front and rear
Full fluid flush including the transmission
    Rear main seal replaced
New VR6 clutch and pressure plate
New heater core, blower motor, and resistor pack
    New CV boots
    New Battery

    The Bad:

Very minor oil drip from the oil cooler/filter gasket (gasket will fix)
Body is in need of work and paint (no cancer spots, but light surface rusting from too much time in primer)
Front big bumper needs to be reglued
Front pass side window regulator is getting sluggish
Trunk will get wet in major rain (due to the spoiler not being glued down... waiting on paint)
Front windshield is pitted and should be replaced (waiting on paint)

**Buyer will also get a clean hood, and set of front fenders that are not shaved with side markers and WB emblems**

As stated I will be very up front with everything good and bad with this car. This was a saved shell that I fully built so I can correctly answer any questions the buyer has.

I would much rather sell this whole, then crush another MK2 shell. I am looking to move it out within the next two weeks. It is fully drivable for any distance. If I cannot sell it in that time frame it will be parted out and the shell crushed.

I am located in Allentown PA, directly off of RT. 22 . I am available for serious buyers evenings after 6pm, and some weekends. I am looking for a cash sale, but will do a paypal transaction if you cover the fees.

TTT... car will come with a clean hood, truck lid and front fenders... these are really the only areas that need attention.

Buyer will also have first crack at a variety of other parts for it at reduced prices that will be listed after the sale

This would be a good start to a project. If I thought I could sell my car fast enough to get this I would. GLWS

One more try on this.... grill and hood scoop are no longer on the car.

The grill has been replaced with a factory OEM redstrip quad setup with original hella inners. (pics will be update soon)

$1500 as it sits with a fair amount of unlisted extras to go with it as well.
