Red Joint, My Lazer Red B5

Whats up guys, i have been trolling the b5 forums for a while and thought i would introduce myself, i have many different aliases in the vw world some call me Black Aj, Tpain, Blage or Blaggio. I recently picked up my second b5 (first one was short lived), story will come later. But heres my red joint and a couple of the other cars i've owned.

Immediately removed that stupid quattro badge from under the trunk, we all know thats not supposed to be there and cleaned it.


Had my buddy over at JFJ Autoworks do the timing belts and we took care of the 15+ vaccum leaks to achieve this..

No Cel and this

around 18 lbs of boost, was at about 8 when i bought it.. (if you couldnt guess its chipped)

Then i fixed the ecodes


Had to replace the two autozone special front axles that came in the car. Both broke within 2 months of owning the car and were put in right before i bought it.

Then picked up some oem roof racks

I found it on craigslist for like 120 but they sell em new on ecstuning.com for like 260. They look so much better than any other rack for this car imo

im thinking coils and wheels, not sure what wheels im going to run yet, and build a motor once it goes. i currently have a borla exhaust, k&n cone filter, bailey motorsport dv and its chipped. Not sure on the brand because it was in it when i bought it.

the valence is just really faded, i tried back to black with no luck but my buddy said hes had some success with a heat gun in bringing back textured exerior parts, he said it should work on this with no problem so after im done with school for the week im going to give that a shot.

This stuff works wonders!!! I've used Back-To-Black, with little success, but this stuff works. I've even tried it on my friends Pontiac Aztec that has the lower plastic cladding, and makes it look like new. Are you going to be at Broke Down on Sunday?

Yes i will be there, if the heat treatment doesn't work will you have some of this with you?

Set up my music...
Helped my buddy do a valve cover gasket, and chain tensioner gasket on his audi


Then tackled that faded lip issue today, the heat gun worked out perfectly, it was like magic.

Coils went in today, took about 2 hours for the first 3 and about 5 for the last one stupid rusty bolt. Heres some pics, raising the front in the morning.
