Since I've asked a few questions in this forum I decided to go ahead and share with you guys/gals my new home build.

Nothing fancy, just a small 3 bedroom 2 bath home.

That's the builders version of a privacy fence. All of their communities in this subdivision are similar.

Lots of homes here in Arizona have this type of "fence". Hope it'll suffice during a zombie invasion.

That's probably just covering the screw heads with compound only. I've seen lots of guys use the "long pass" method as opposed to dabbing on each screw.

Don't forget the glass shards embedded in cement at the top.

And dogs, you need at least two. A small yappy one, the alarm, and a big one, the pain.

Yes, the backyard is small but I'm fine with that since I hate mowing grass.

    Thanks!

^^^^^^^^^^ Why are you letting poeple (workers maybe?) walk on the hardwood flooring with dirty shoes? This should be covered with something like cardboard taped down.

Not worried about that. They'll fix it at final inspection if I find any damage or defects.

They have a construction cleaning crew that comes thru and cleans up the place at certain intervals.

I don't quite understand the back of your house. Is this upper shot taken standing at the sliding glass door out to that small concrete patio? Am I seeing the post you can see out the kitchen slider in the lower shot?

I'd say yes. You are seeing the back patio out the kitchen slider and the top picture shows the very edge of the patio, lower right corner of the post and into the back.

That last pic is taken from the living room wall out into the patio. That's the privacy fence that separates the next street of houses.

I'm sure I'm saying something you'll already do but I'll say it anyways, be very particular about what you expect when you do the final. We got some push back on a few things but we were very clear an insistent and it all ended up getting taken care of.

    Place looks good.

Thanks. I plan on being firm with all the major items my home inspector found.

Had my final walk thru inspection today and the list of items my inspector found are fixed or will be fixed by trades before my close date next Thursday.

The place has some nice touches and gadgets. I'm going to enjoy having no one above or beside me on the other side of the walls.

Fridge & washer/dryer delivery scheduled for next Wednesday.
On the hunt for faux wood blinds and cell black out blinds throughout.
