Lol I wouldnt say lucky. Thanks everybody.

There may be a second phase to this build later down the road but that is still up in the air. Going to have to wait and see how it drives first and then go from there.

Finished welding all the holes in the bay up. Going to finish grinding down the welds tomorrow and start working on sealing the seams.

All the holes are finally welded up and the welds have been ground down. Put a layer of seam sealer on. When it dries I am going to sand it smooth and get everything ready for a few layers of epoxy primer. Then going to start on the filler once the primer sets up.

Just about ready for sealer. There are little things I have been working on in the bay. Getting it as smooth as I can. Should have it buttoned up tomorrow and start wiping it all down and ready for sealer. I bought some plastic so I can make a little paint booth around the bay. Hopefully it turns out well. I will have pics tomorrow.

Progress. Got the bay in sealer tonight. Now begins the bodywork. Lots of filler and sanding to make it slick.

      Epoxy sealer on the bay.

This is my little paintbooth I made up.

Sanded on the bay a bit yesterday. Flipped the car back up on its side so I can fix the rusted through hole in the floor. I am going to fix that and then get the whole underside in new undercoating so it will be at least one part of the car done.

Here are some pics of the modified R downpipe. I cut most of the downpipe apart and then welded it back together the way I needed it.
