I grew up on the same area as him.. East Side of Detroit is no joke.
Some of you will say 'drug deal gone wrong', but stories like this aren't that uncommon back home.

My buddies and I used to skate Detroit after school and in the summer. Cops don't care - the city is yours for the taking.
However, there was always significant risk of running into real Gs that would shoot you for your money/shoes/watch/shirt on your back. Thankfully, the only problems we had was avoiding peddling bums.

pay more attention, it was his "friend" who shot him. He mentions it multiple times throughout his telling of the story and goes into detail on how his friend was acting in court.

i'm not really sure how you are missing it, but he most certainly talks about his friend being the one who did it. He then goes on to mention his friend who was found in his house by the police because another friend turned him in, and then goes on to talk about his friends antics in court and his friends family ragging on him for not trying to get even without the law.

watch the second video from 3:25, he says he knows him, but never in these videos does it say that it was his friend that did it. he also refers to him as the kid who shot me, not his friend. either way hes a scumbag.

I just stumbled across this. I do have one question, where did the shooter get the shotgun? did he have it in the car on the way there? did he have it hidden in at the crime scene then got out and retrieved it? was there a third person at the crime scene who handed it off to him to perpetrate the shooting? Somebody knows the answer, it had to be among the first five questions he asked during his initial interview once he recovered.
