Soooo, I'm getting a 1998 white Beetle from my Mom. It needs a cat and 02 sensor, front rotors and pads, and the passenger window regulator. This stuff needs to be fixed for NY inspection, and she is getting rid of it. Talking about the junkyard, though it has 140k, been well maintained, runs like a top, new tires, etc. I am planning to fix the window, put on decent pads and rotors weld up an exhaust similar to the techtonics, with 2 1/4" mandrel bends $45, magnaflow cat $90, cherry bomb $20, turbo muffler $20, reuse flanges and hangers from old exhaust. I was planning to port and gasket match the exhaust mani, and drill some holes in the intake box while I'm at it. In another 30k (if I keep it that long), I would do 260 cam, chip while doing timing belt and head gasket. Other than sticky tires and suspension, that's about it... it's an econo box.





I want to go for a panda theme, with the hood, roof, and trunk lid painted flat black or wrapped in vinyl pattern. I also want the angry eye lids, not sure if they should be white, black, or whatever vinyl pattern.

That on hood, roof (not doorlines), trunk lid. Angry lids, smoke upper tails so they are angry, too. No spoiler, stubby antennae.

I would like to do a stripe along the lower door, qp, between the fenders, above the running boards.
I want to turn this design into a repeating pattern, about 6-8" high.

Trees going the length of the lower door line, maybe a bit higher than this stripe.
I want to have some random panda stickers hiding in the trees...







And either flat black or white wheels. I will prolly rattle can the stock rims black, with a gloss white stripe around the outer rim temporarily.
Thinking either porsche twists, BBS's, or wide steelies.
