Had this happen to my wifey's vw a week prior to purchase. Take it in, they might have to order the whole piece though. If it has the same problem as hers that is. Takes 5-15minutes. Good luck

Did take it in, 3 headliners and 5 c pillars later, I'm waiting for VWoA Arbitration to take it off my hands and get me into a Golf. I'm sorry, but if I knew when i was buying the Jetta that the wife liked the Golf, I would have never gotten into the Jetta. It is a cheap plastic crap box that was poorly engineered. I think they let the Pueblo plant have too much say in their "quality" expectations.

This is suitable for grill and I bought from a Chinese seller on eBay, however, that seller is no longer on eBay. But, you can buy one the same as those of the links below and paste in place of the GLI emblem.

This is for the Golf MKVI or Jetta MKV and I buy in ECS Tuning (http://www.ecstuning.com/News/VW_MKV...Kits/ES251386/), but I sanded the grooves of the back pedal and pasted over the existing pedal.

lower it (H&R sport springs)
new wheels (18x8)
fogs
and a whole lot of interior projects like wrapping the trim and making a new shift boot.
