    Hey everyone.

I usually introduce myself once I get into a new car so just wanted to say a quick hello.

Convienced my girl to sell her RDX and helped her pick up a 2012 Golf TDi from Dwight Harrison VW in Atlanta.

Car came with Nav/sunroof option and monster matt kit. Plans are simple, Tint, drop (nothing crazy), and wheels.

So far the car has been a blast to drive and look forward to long trips with minimal gas stops...

    take care,
    nash

Got the same car but in black and have the same idea, already got the tint and coilovers with only 3k miles on it haha...I have been enjoying it so far and getting over 550 miles is always a plus too!

Nice pick up and good luck with it!

Awesome that you convinced your girl to swap into the Golf TDI from an RDX.

She have any comments on the change?

Take it from an old timer....

And I love my Mk6 tdi more than my Mk1 tdi.
Just a great car to daily.

it didn't take much convincing truth be told... she loves the look of the mk6 golfs. only negative we both agree on is the NAV system in the golf isn't up to par to what the RDX had.... get up and go is a less with the TDI as well, but the savings in fuel is well worth it we both think...

thank you old timer... i have to agree with you. i've owned ever platform excluding the mk5 and this car is simply the best in regards to everyday driving!!!!

anyway, got spax springs on, ordered wheels from BFI (decided not to go crazy and buy expensive wheels so decided to buy her something i don't mind her curbing (if it happens, stay positive.... )) so ordered a set of rotiforms in 19x8.5 et 45. , painted calipers black, and had good friend from garcia tinting put some tint on the car....

overall, i like it, and more importantly she loves it....

car sitting on a downward slant on this pic, but car sits perfect in my opinion for daily driving...

thanks again for the positive welcome...

    take care,
    nash

Not a huge fan of black wheels anymore but that looks pretty good. I think a set of gloss black mirror caps would set it off perfectly.

i do understand why many don't like the black wheel look. me personally, love it...

funny thing is that we showed the car to her mother and her mother said "your hubcaps you had on fell off".... LOL... either way, my lady loves black wheels likes, so she got what she wanted.

i do agree with the gloss mirror caps. never thought of it till you said anything...damn you!!!!
