    ** UPDATED WITH REAR SEATS JAN 7 2012 **

I've been wavering between buying new seats or OEM covers for my R32. Once I met Tim at Velocity Upholstery and saw his work, I knew there was no other option than to get him to reupholster my seats.

Did they just do the inserts or did they redo the entire seats (bolsters, etc)

Nice- yours look better than the ones they show on their web site. Their web site examples have a lot of pulls and crooked stitching- yours look pretty good. If they weren't so far away, I'd take mine in.

When I bought the car used, the seats were worn and cracked. Also the leather/vinyl started to look a little off colour with blueish tones.

He redid the entire seats. Price included taking the seats out, fixing some damaged foam in the side bolsters, reinforcing the heater elements, he also helped me fix a broken wire for the lumbar support, installation as well.

I think the pics shown were from some of his early work. I had the advantage of meeting him at this year's Great Canadian VW and I saw his Jetta Wagon interior. A few other cars there had their interior redone by him and I was convinced after seeing his work that it is top quality. One MK1 rabbit he redid the interior for won best of show.

He's worked on interiors from all over the US and Canada. I know that many people ship their seats to him to get redone. Just borrow a driver's seat from someone and ship him yours!

I met Tim Also at the great Canadian, his wagon is really nice and his work on that thing is amazing. He is a great guy very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. he is here on the forum.

Are you the one that had the supercharged BMP R? I talked to you for a bit, I have the White R wagon.

I might take some things to Tim in the Future

so what car did you take to the show? I knew most of the other R owners and met the guy with the BMP s/c one and the other guy with the RS there.

Looks awesome, is the carbon leather an option ? I would rather have perforated leather.... Anyone who's ridden in a R for a long distance knows the seats don't breath well. My seats have a ton of miles on em and even thou I've looked after em I could use a redo.

I took my car but wasn't showing it. I only had the car for a few weeks and it needed a LOT of work.

Yes you can get any material you want.

FYI this is black synthetic vinyl. Chose because it was much cheaper than Leather and has similar wear.

Sent them an email to see what I can do with perforated leather down the centers and normal leather on the rest of the seat with the R logo retained !
