Quite an improvement over the 1992 list! Well, except for the ghost driving Subaru

Surprised to see Civic EX on there...if only they waited for the EM1.

And real deal GSXes are so damn hard to find...

Now thats a list of cars that I remember.

Graduated high school in '98 and with the exception of the Neon and maybe the Civic, all cars I fawned after.

With the exception of the Mitsubishi I didn't realize how light those cars were.

Safety regulations were much more lenient back then.

Its shocking how cars have almost doubled in price since then, its only been 13 years.

I can't believe the A4 was only 3k more than the MKIII VR and only weighs 77lb more

My friend bought a red 200sx se-r, recently, he seems to like it so far, and got a good deal on his.

That's probably the FWD model's weight.
I'm really just here for the pancakes.
I'm Sorry Hachi... I love you.

15k for a civic ex. Granted it 1/2 of the features, but thats a awesome deal.

      RSX Type-S
      10-17-2011 03:32 PM #14
      I've owned 2 cars from this list, albeit in non-performance trim. A '95 Integra LS (auto), and a '98 B14 200SX (5-speed). I've got a Type-S RSX now.

This is without question my favorite class of cars. It's a damn shame too, I feel like it's a very overlooked class of cars these days. 2-doors, 4 cylinder power, FWD, sporty, 5/6-speed manual. All I can really think of is the Civic Si and the GTI.....I guess we'll throw the Veloster in there too.

What else am I missing? Remember: 2-door, FWD, sporty.

It's amazing the Civic can stop itself with 0.3in discs up front

I remember when the 2.5 RS came out.
It was the first affordable all wheel drive Subaru with enough power to be considered sporty.
      The media loved it.

I miss SCC and Coleman's writing style. Shame they ended like they did.
