ive seen a cobra head but the piece he sent me for my 3082 4 inch inlet was a 4 inch to 3.5 inch silicone bend.....it fit perfect and let me tell you.....atp t3 manifold on a b5 a4 leaves almost no clearance for inlet pipe. he saved me like he always does

Haven't updated this in a while.

So engine is back in, everything is button up. good to have it looking like a car again.

Not much is being done as I am waiting on my 3" Eurojet exhaust to show up. kind of on hold until then.

Went to top off coolant yesterday and found the seal on the hard pipe going to the waterpump/t-stat housing was ripped in half. had a small coolant leak lol. had to loosen the manifold to get at the stupid thing. what a dumb design.

Software has been flashed with a 630 base file that I modified for my 840cc setup. have to alter the alpha n table to suit my 80mm + sem + mafless. probably putts with that until I see my parts from the dealer.

the 550hp core from Arnold was a tight fit! had to modify the bumper slightly to get it to fit back on. other than removing a few inches off the lower lip and modifying the side grills not to much had to be done.

Gonna snap some pics and update the thread this weekend. My SLR is at a friends so im afraid it will be iphone pics for now.

you CAN fit in a 4in cobra head. I have a gt3076r with 4in intake, whch is about the same size.
a 4in cobra head to the passanger side fits...barley.
i had to run the boost pipes hugging the engine by the frame rail.

Yep same setup. I believe the cobra is 3 or 3.5" in and 4" going into the PTE.

im not too worried about it right now. stock intank plus 044 inline should suffice for now. if i start to notice afr's going wack at higher boost levels then i might consider a surge, but for 400+ hp range the inline should do fine.

So I went to put on a set of new rotors that i've had for 2 years but brand new, just to find out they are the wrong ones. right diameter, wrong hub. 5x112 maybe. weak. thank you ECS. first and last time i ever order anything from there.

Front suspension is on.

was able to snag some nice SMC air line from work to use for vacuum line. came out pretty good.

gonna start it tomorrow. straight pipe because my exhaust hasn't arrived yet.

maybe first thing in the morning too. just for s*its and giggles.

Great build! Glad to see some positivity regarding the 5857 too, I'm using one for my build and most people seem to talk it down. Looks excellent so far though, in for the rest of the build

i ran my line of my wastegate from the side, how do you like running it from the top

If he is not using any other boost source to the wastegate, it would run shut all the time, which would blow his engine in no time.

definately. he could have a side line also if he has an ebc. but yea i never use the top. if its the only one connected your gonna have some ungodly amount of boost lol

Yeah I switched to using the bottom port only. Works better this way with a MBC as I found it spiking to crazy levels lol

420whp on a dynapack. Ran out of fueling thought as my IDC was like 83% and I couldnt get my stock in tank to keep up lol

Have a genisis intank now. Hopefully next summer will look better

about 28 PSI.

I'll be happy once I get my head built and I can take it up to 8500...should make some good power then
