PS3: Black Ops 2 thread

when i first play, i'll probably just play TDM to get a good idea of the map, layout, flow/hotspots, spawns, ect. domination is good for learning strategy, map control, power/impact spots. i feel like TDM helps me at becoming better at domination

but usually i only play to win when we're all in a team. most other times, i just pretend im rambo or tony montana going out in a blaze of glory. sometimes its a bad habit and i get stuck being in that "rambo" mode, but its so much mindless fun.

There's already "a bunch" of chatter and complaining online in regards to BF3's graphics and gameplay. Guys with the console versions AND PC versions are complaining that they feel mislead from seeing EA's prerelease multiplayer videos (duh)....
So far the complaints are
- too bright
- too cartoonish
- random choppiness.
- trouble connecting
- maps are "maybe" too large. Can't find anyone to kill. lol

So I was thinking about getting it to join in with a few a you....so I'll wait until I get some feedback from PS3 guys. I know Turbo and Marty got it....so speak up!

well i had issues with downloading last night on my PC - finally got it going around 2am and played for all of 5 minutes maybe 10 but i was beat and went to bed.

I thought it looked fine but once again i was happy to be playing.

Picking up the PS3 version after work so approx 1 hr and will be on tonight

regardless you know that COD has been the same way the first day. (connections, joining parties, etc)

Anyways, it plays fine. whoever said it was too bright adjust your damn brightness, retards. Graphics on my PC were amazing, all on Ultra high settings. Never had any connection problems, yet. ( but I expected some connection problems on the first day). Maps are fine, game is meant to be objective base, not always about 'K/D.' Cartoonish? If anything COD is cartoonish.

Never said it was the truth. I don't even own the game. After reading these posts I wanted to know from a friend, like you, if the PS3 version was decent. I could care less about the PC version. I obviously wanted you to give me PS3 feedback. If you told me that after playing the PS3 version, "it was bad ass!" I would go buy it. Regardless of the PC version performance.

i think the PS3 version is sweet

the one thing that bothers me (and its been this way for all of them) is that only 4 to a squad.
I was getting invites left and right but couldnt join half the games - that was expected.

However, I could always join Jae's so i kept following him around last night. Sorry for cramping your style Jae

the shotgun is a beast - running down an alley with that thing and blam dead guys left and right

Finally got the acog site for the medic rifle so my kills started going up. Hate iron sites.

Overall you need to have some good players who want to play together to enjoy this game. I was in a helicopter as a gunner and the pilot bailed and next thing i know im plunging into a lake

But just like bad company - get a good squad who works together - you will run right through teams

My stepsister is a flight attendant for Southwest and was supposed to give us a couple buddy passes. She has conveniently gone silent... I've tried to get a hold of her the last 2 days and no response... I'm so bummed.
